The consequences of the junk science of Rachel Carson has killed more people than Attila the Hun, Adolf Hitler, Joe Stalin, and World War II, combined.
Well, you say, Rachel Carson meant no harm, she merely imagined terrible egresses from the culture into which she had been born; not like Adolf Hitler who was mean and hated Jews.
But hey, we ain’t seen nothing yet. The death toll from the misuse of Earth’s resources because of the chic superstition of man-made global warming will cost us trillions of dollars, and maybe a billion men, women, and children will die because of bans and curbs and cowabonga.
