possible travel plans

speaking of friends flung to all corners of the globe, we've got a friend who's in amsterdam for awhile, and he might not mind having houseguests! we are definitely considering it. the lodging is usually the most expensive part of a trip like this, and that will cost nothing. with plane tickets being fairly inexpensive, and him liking to cook as much as he does, i imagine we'd have a great time without spending very much at all. i hope we can make it work.

otherwise, it was a quiet (though busy) friday at work, i helped my friend with her blog and it's starting to look like something, and d has another local possibility that looks promising, even if it's a longshot.
