What's better: democracy or monarchy?

Yeah. I'm the person who's supposed to be answering this question, having been born and raised in the United States, AND who happens to be a Princess of a country. Right. I know the American principles... I mean, Lilly is always going on about how the government doesn't take care of the environment and wants people to listen to her point of views about what she believes is right. And yeah, I mean, I kind of agree with democracy. I think that everybody should talk about stuff... ideas come from everywhere. But then again, I'm technically the Genovian people's president... Only I get to wear a crown instead of a suit. I mean, I'm the one who ultimately makes the decisions, of course... Hang on. Isn't democracy and monarchy the same thing? Because the people tell a select representative from their area what they want, and then they tell their superior until it comes up to the cabinet members: the president's own personal advising group... and I get a cabinet.... I suppose there could be a democratic monarchy, right? This is WAY to much for me to think about.
