I haven't been on here for a while. That's mainly due to the fact that I could think of nothing worthwhile to say on here. I'm an advocate of "if you've got nothing to say, don't say anything", which is perhaps why a lot ot the time I simply enjoy listening to others' conversations and occasionally join in when I actually have a comment.

What Dan said... it's okay to plan for the future, but try to live in the moment. If you think about 'now', then you won't be too worried about what will happen 'then', and you'll enjoy the ride.

You'll enjoy yourself more in general, I think. I tend to take that to the extreme and enjoy things like the sun, or a bird that flew by, or the feeling of walking to class. Living in the moment rocks because you see things people normally overlook because they're too obsessed with thinking about the future... or the past.

You can never change the past, and the future is always uncertain. So just do what you can right now! :3

I think that made sense...

Oh, and enjoying what's around you might be extreme by some standards, but it's the way to live- really live. The world should never lose the beauty and wonder it has for a child. There are precious few people that appreciate the world around them like that; it's a highly admirable quality.

Well, you are the one who taught me to look at the world that way. I'm pretty sure that, if I hadn't met you, I'd probably still be as dark and miserable as I was in Middle School. :)

I'm glad nobody is here to see the cheesy grin plastered on my face right now. If anybody could, they'd probably punch me in the teeth.

I didn't realize I'd done anything, really, but I'm very flattered that you feel I've been helpful that way. Since my only serious goal in life is to make a positive difference for people, you can imagine how much I'm ready to explode with happiness at the moment.

I appreciate it, but people make their own decisions. Influences are important and all, but you are who you are because of you. I never thought you were quite as cheerless as you think you were; I always thought you were one of the coolest people on the planet. Still, I can tell you've become a little more optimistic over the years, and I'd say that you've got yourself to thank for that more than me.
