This video could be considered to go along with my fic Promise and a sum of my just a dream and what hurts the most preview video but can also be seen as a stand alone.
Sam and Bella met in high school after she had been lost in the woods for some time. Soon after Bella became somewhat infatuated with Sam and tried everything possible to gain his attention. When she did gain his attention, they became good friends which soon turned into more. Her infatuation grew into love and she was head over heels for the native.
A few months before she was to graduate, Sam proposed and they were married. Their happiness didn’t last long since Sam had enlisted into the forces and was called into duty. Everyday Bella would write Sam letters and read his. She waited and clung to each of his letters to help her cope with his absence. Then suddenly one day Sam’s letters seemed to stop coming, fear and dread consumed her. Everyone tried to reassure her that that Sam was fine and he might have gotten caught up in things. Bella wanted to believe what they said was true, but she couldn’t help the horrible nagging feeling that was eating at her.
A few days later her greatest fear was realized she was told that Sam was killed in action. She was completely heartbroken but refused to believe what they told her was true and she shuns everyone out. After a few weeks, Charlie tries to talk to her, tries to help her see the truth; not wanting to believe that Sam is dead, Bella leaves and runs into the forest. She stops and looks around, realizing she’s lost and is in the same situations she met Sam. Soon the memories of him comeback, devastated at the reality that Sam won’t return, she breaks down crying in the middle of the forest. A search party is formed to find her, a few hours later they find her.
Weeks pass and after coming to realization that Sam is gone, Bella falls into a deep depression and stop taking care of herself. She begins to have dreams of Sam and wakes up crying each night. Charlie tries to help but doesn’t know the best way to deal with the situation and he feels helpless at not being able to help. He hates seeing his only child in so much pain.
Bella hangs out with her and Sam’s friends and relatives to keep her mind off of Sam and her pain but somehow he is brought up and the void in her heart returns and the dreams hit full force. Bella has other interested in her and she tries to give them a chance but Sam is the only one she can think about and rejects them.
Bella goes to their old home trying to keep the small hope she has that everything is just a dream alive and that Sam would soon be back in her arms. Seeing the emptiness of the house, she realizes her hopes are futile and she’s not dreaming.
Having enough and at a loss on how to help Bella, Charlie finally tells her she was to leave, to get away from La Push and Forks. Bella refuses not wanting to leave the place that is filled with memories of her Sam.
The brunette wakes up from a dream and looks up to see Sam standing there but he soon disappears. Wanting to see him again, Bella gets up hoping she’s not imaging things. After a few minutes pass she gives up and realizes that that was Sam’s way of telling her to let go. Bella goes and visits Sam’s grave and tell she loves him. She knows that this is her first step to fully heal but she knows she’ll never forget the love of her life.
