macarons part 2
I am really disappointed right now because I am not sure if I am going to be able to go to the meet up today . the forecast says it is going to snow .and my new skirt hasn't even gotten here yet ,well whatever I should just stop complaining .
I made the macarons yesterday ,well the cookies anyways .The only hard part was that the almonds had to be made into a powder and it took about 2 hours to sieve the processed almonds and powdered sugar . So it took a total of 5 hours to make the macarons and ganache. The only problem was that the first batch of macarons came out small and different sizes :(.overall I had a great time with my aunt making them and I guess if I don't get to go I will have 30 macarons for myself!
