Meet-up fun

Went on a super~fun meet-up today although it was a short on compared to other meet-ups i've been to .We went to manitou ,ate some crepes,and played some games at the penny arcade ...oh and tericka gave us some fantastic goodie bags (like she always does ,!thanks!)

I got it off mbok a japanese auction site it was a pretty lucky find ,I won the auction at like 70 bucks .

well I used a service from a girl on livejournal(however she oly has ordering spots open every once in a while).She is great responds very quickly and answers any questions .

the list is a bit dated so some of the LJ User services may be gone or just bad to use .
from what i haver read i would reccomend that you use cresent i haven't really heard any negative reviews from it .I think clega is cheaper but people have been having problems with them lately.
Oh and if you need to just use a translater for everything , if you tell me what you are looking for i maybe able to help you find it .

Thanks bunches Mia! I am trying to learn Japanese, but I didn't practice my kana for a long time, and forgot most of the characters, and my kanji was never any good even just to read, I mostly know simple phrases right now, but I'm going to try to find a class this year, and I'm hoping to do one of my minors in Japanese studies and study abroad in Japan for a year when I go to college, so I'm going to study hard before that.

That said, I definitely appreciate the offer, and will let you know if I ever become in need of a translation for some reason. ^-^

I appreciate all the help and referrals you have provided me with, I'll definitely look into that, and hopefully we'll see each other at another meet-up soon. I look forward to hanging out again some time, and until then, we should definitely keep in touch via LJ, or if you want my number to text too. I try to read as much japanese stuff as possible so even if i have no ideal what it is saying I practice what little I know while I am still learning .
I think studying abroad would be fun ,But I don't think I would be able to do it since I want to be an accountant and would have to minor in something related to accounting .
(but I do think I'll take japanese once I get to college)
ahh yes no problem ,I think there will be a meet-up for Glen eyrie next month I'll definitly go to that.
