i'm so over shopping!
(EDIT: supposed to post this last night but there has been a major modem disaster)
on to food tripping this time.
first stop was Powerplant to drop off something for Cecile ( C, when are you free?) and to have lunch with Dad. and this was what we saw at the entrance.
but nevertheless, we braved the crowds and waited to be seated. i had the beef pepper rice
and seaweed salad while my dad had the pork pepper rice and kani salad.
i was based in tokyo for a time but was never able to dine at pepper lunch ( i just eat at yoshinoya to save on food. it's obvious where i spend the mullah ;) )
therefore i have no basis of comparison. but i would say that the food is good!
after lunch i was thinking that i still needed that shu uemura brush cleaner so i took a peek in the store. lo! and behold! there on the 'pedestal of crystal cupboard' sat my bottle, beckoning, calling, staring with that come-hither look as if i were the most deserving creature of them all.... drama!
and i finally have it in my hands! bwa-ha-ha-ha!!!
on to national bookstore for my monthly hit of british vogue
oh, oh, oh, meet my shopping partner, La Greta ..chussszzzzz!
went back to the hotel for high tea and to enjoy the music
the next plan was just to have a quick photo session with my Dad at The Picture Company. BUT the way from point A to point B snaked through a labyrinth of shopping traps. what a challenging course! and i was caught by the fiercest booby trap of the day.
the rest of the stuff we shopped along the way were for my Dad. this serves me best, shopping vicariously through Dad.
until finally we arrived at our destination
photo shoot went smoothly but took sometime to choose the pics.
then since we were already at GB5, we decided to have dinner at Via Mare. we luuuurve the guinomis there. and the fresh lumpia. and the pancit luglug.
well, in hindsight, id rather go shopping and burn the calories than food tripping and gain the pounds! so therefore, i conclude that for me, shopping and fashion give greater pleasure :)))
