Schooooool's out! For the summer~ hahaha beatcha guys back home by a good month again ;)
Just kind of chilling for now, need to move my things to the new apartment soon, study for exams, go to dance class, finish up the year >-O That went by so fast this time. I'm supposedly finishing my undergrad degree next year! My mom called and we talked about grad school already =.= I really don't know what I want to do for that yet. But it's looking like UBC may in fact be a possibility. It starts with deciding when to come home this summer and for how long, aside from going to Eugene for InField 2010 the last two weeks of June.
Then after hanging out with Laura and Juan (who has an iPhone) on Friday and oralverbatim (who ALSO has an iPhone), I decided I must finally cave and get one. Good timing, since I'm turning TWENTY-ONE June 9th, and there's a new one coming out this June anyway. I'll spring for it, but I was talking to my friend Andrew about whether to get one in America or here in Canada, and THAT ultimately comes down to where I'll be for the next few years of my life D: ahhh economics! My Rogers contract is almost up here, so I would love to get one here, but say I don't go to grad school here, EVEN though we have the whole apartment thing. o.o I wish that Canada and US were one, or at least one cell phone region. So much easier.
Finally got myself to complete Deepa Mehta's Elements Trilogy tonight, with the last one Earth. Very short by comparison, but loved the actors/acting, the music, and the story was ultimately sad, like the other two. But very good. But very sad. This one was about the 1947 partition of India and Pakistan. Fire is about two sisters-in-law that develop a relationship with each other out of neglect of their husbands (I wrote a paper on it!) and Water is about a group of widows living in an ashram in Varanasi. Please see these movies when you get a chance guys! The cinematography is wonderful. I can lend them all to you.
