Some random Airi thought...

You know, I just realized something. In Episode Red movie, Ryotaro’s body had shrunk into that of a twelve-year-old boy, right? And considering Airi’s conversation with Yuto near the beginning of the movie, we could assume she regains her lost memories (I also assumed so, since in Den-O tv series ep final, at that scene in the hospital where the old Sakurai Yuto was about to disappear, she smiled and cried and actually tried to reach for him; really, I don’t think she’d try to touch him if she couldn’t even remember who he was.)

Which means:

Ryotaro, her own little brother, who is supposed to be over eighteen, currently looks and sounds just like a twelve y.o. Point: she seems to believe that the kid is the same old Ryotaro, despite the physical difference.

Yuto, her fiancé, who is supposedly dead/disappeared, keep appearing in front of her in his younger form, with the same hobby as the old Yuto, and supposedly also with the same personality traits. Point: She never believes they’re the same person.

And this is the part where I really, really hope that the choice to remove Sato Takeru and replace him with some expressionless kid is intentional, and not because they can’t afford Takeru now that Takeru is no longer a nobody, because. Damn. This is some serious mindfuck they did to Airi’s character.

How could she keep insisting that Sakurai-san and Yuto are two separate people when she had to believe her own lil brother, who undergone drastic physical change, is still the same?

*pauses*

I see a mental breakdown in Airi’s immediate future. /whacked

…I might fic this shit up.
