Comment: This fic is absolutely delightful. I don't normally read gossip girl fic, but I'm glad I give this fic a chance. I have always been partial to Dan, despite all his hang-ups and whatnot in the show, so while it's not exactly hard to get me symphatize with Dan, the author's version of Dan just left me aching and wanting and generally feeling like I had a knife in my gut. Here, Dan just seemed like he was always stuck in a state of confusion that he didn't even know he was in, wanting things he didn't know he wanted until he got them, only to realize he didn't want them after all. And Chuck! I don't normally like Chuck, but here? I absolutely feel for him.
