Dreaming Through the Twilight
Yamapi/Jin/Kame

Toma wandered around the hallway aimlessly.
Other than the meeting that he was supposed to attend at least two hours later, he had nothing else to do. It was a pity neither Tomohisa nor Jin was available to bug right now. Oh well, that only meant he had to find another source of amusement. No big deal.
Except he had been hunting for a prey for the last thirty minutes, and still got nada. Why was it that every time he needed them, none seemed to be around? He sighed. Even Kazama-pun and Hasejun didn’t seem to be around either. Come to think of it, they both had been avoiding him as of late for some reason that really didn’t make any sense. Wonder what was up with everyone.
Kazuya, Kazuya, Kazuya.
Wonder what the boy was doing right now. Ever since his talk with Jin, Toma hardly ever saw Kazuya around anymore. He seemed to be busy and preoccupied with something. Really, he didn’t know all that much about Kazuya - other than the fact that he was very similar to the old-good-Tomohisa - and from what Jin and Tomohisa implied, Kazuya seemed like a good kid.
Toma made a face. Good kids were never fun.
If he had to spend another hour stuck in here, then he better make most of his time as efficient as possible. Like, plotting some evil deeds, for example. And what better place to do so other than the stairwell, which nobody really used? Most people preferred to use elevators, so the stairs must be lonely, he thought. Right. Then the stairs it would be.
He turned to the next corridor and opened the door to the stairwell, intending to go down two floors before he started. But a few steps later, he heard some footsteps down there, and he sped up his pace, curious as who it was wandering around the stairs.
Then the other person came into view, and Toma halted on his track.
There, standing a few steps down from him, was none other than Kamenashi Kazuya himself.
“Kazuya!” Toma said, his cheerfulness masked the surprise in his voice. “Hey, what are you doing here?”
Kazuya blinked real slow, as if making sure the person who was standing in front of him was really the one who he thought he was. “Toma,” Kazuya said, just as slowly. “Ikuta Toma.”
It was Toma’s turn to blink at him. Something seemed rather…off with Kazuya. “Yeah, that’s my full name. I’m Ikuta Toma, and you’re Kamenashi Kazuya. And here I thought we were already past the introduction phase…” he teased in mock hurt, an eyebrow raised.
“Toma,” Kazuya said again, taking a few steps up on the stairs so now they were on the same eye-level. “I’ve been looking for you.”
Toma looked at him concernedly. “Kazuya, are you alright?”
Kazuya smiled. “I don’t know. I suppose I’m alright, but I don’t feel like I am, right here -“ And for some reason, he clutched the front of his shirt - over his heart - tightly. “But that’s not important.” He waved a hand in the air to dismiss it. “I’ve been thinking,” Kazuya said, taking a deep breath as if to brace himself for something. “You’re Yamapi’s best friend, right?”
“No, I’m not his best friend.” Toma replied. “I’m his bestest friend.” He claimed proudly. “Something wrong with that?”
Kazuya smiled again, but for some reason that he couldn’t fathom, Toma felt instead of smiling at him, Kazuya was actually sneering - which was just plain impossible, because Toma was sure Kazuya was incapable of sneering. Besides, Toma had been sneering down at people too many times to not be able to distinguish the difference between smiling and sneering, and Kazuya was definitely smiling. Definitely.
But still the weird feeling stayed and refused to go away.
“Yes, and no.” Was Kazuya’s answer to Toma’s question earlier.
Toma raised an eyebrow at him. “Oh? Why’s that?”
Kazuya put his hand under his chin, his eyes squinting to the side, giving an impression that he was in a deep thought. “You see, I’ve been around Yamapi for a while, and he seemed fine to me.” he said casually. “But ever since our little rendezvous in the elevator, he seemed a little… shaken. He was restless and more quiet than usual, and he even actually avoided me for a week before he finally disappeared without a trace.”
Toma eyed the boy before him amusedly. He had never thought that Kazuya would ever come to him about anything before, let alone about Tomohisa. Toma knew Jin actually knew where to find Tomohisa, but it seemed like Jin didn’t tell Kazuya for some obscure reason. Wonder, wonder.
“And you’re telling me this because…?”
Kazuya shifted, and now he was looking straight at Toma, his gaze unwavering. “Because I really think you have something to do with his disappearance.” Kazuya said, smiling a brilliant smile at him that would certainly make other people melt and win their hearts over; but Toma had been around Tomohisa too long not to recognize one of his automatic, false smiles, even if it was on another person’s face.
Toma just slouch his shoulders and gave off an air of indifference, an eyebrow arched up inquiringly at Kazuya. “What makes you think so?” he asked, smiling, looking at Kazuya in a way that suggested he found he was being ridiculous. “Are you accusing me of kidnapping Tomohisa?” he laughed.
Kazuya didn’t laugh. If anything, his smile got even brighter. Toma stopped laughing. This was beginning to get kind of uncomfortable, if not rather creepy.
“No.” Kazuya said. “It’s not your style to do something like that, so I don’t think you kidnapped him.”
Not his style? Not his style? Just what exactly was that supposed to mean?
“But he started acting weird since our impromptu meeting, so that pretty much narrowed down my suspicion to you.” Kazuya continued, flicking his hair back with one hand in what appeared to be a habitual gesture. Then Kazuya trained his eyes back at him, his blinding and friendly smile never left his face. “What did you do, Toma?” he asked casually enough, as if he was only asking about the weather, but the sparkle in his eyes stated he was dead serious.
This was already starting to get more than just a little weird.
Toma brushed a hand through his short hair and dusted some invisible dirt off his clothes just so his hands would have something to do, because if not, then he would have stuffed his hands into his pockets - something that he couldn’t do, because it would mean he was nervous enough to hide his shaking hands.
And he certainly Was. Not. Nervous.
“I’m deeply wounded that you really think I’m the cause of Tomohisa’s disappearance.” He said dramatically, feigning hurt. “I didn’t do anything to him, you know.” And he wasn’t lying when he said that, because other than talking to him, he didn’t actually do anything.
Kazuya tilted his head down slightly, and his fringe of hair obscured his expression from Toma’s view. But Toma was surprised to find that he wasn’t sure whether he wanted to see just what kind of expression decorated Kazuya’s face just then, because for some reason he believed it wasn’t one of nervousness or anxiety.
What was this? What was really happening?
Then Kazuya looked back at him, that goddamn smile still plastered on his face. “Toma, where’s he?” Kazuya asked oh-so-sweetly that other people probably would have succumbed to his request by now.
But once again, Toma’s experience with Tomohisa saved him. “Why are you looking for him?” Toma asked him instead. “And what will you do if you find him?”
“Toma, just tell me where he is.” Kazuya said evenly.
“Saa~ is it important?” he asked playfully, trying his best to appear like he was considering it.
“Toma.”
Toma’s head snapped, and he stared at Kazuya. Kazuya was still smiling, but just now - just now he was sure there was a certain - desperation? - urgency in Kazuya’s voice, almost as if - as if he was warning him, as if he was threatening him with just a mere mention of his name - which was just plain impossible.
“Toma, where is he?” again Kazuya asked, pronouncing each word with deliberate slowness, his eyes never leaving Toma’s face, just like his smile never leaving his lips.
What was this? It was almost like - like -
One corner of Kazuya’s lips curled upwards just the tiniest bit, and Toma’s eyes widened in reaction for a second before he caught himself and narrowed them again. He was acting really weird. W-why?
“Toma.”
Just one word - one word, but the way Kazuya said it made the hair on Toma’s skin prickle. He looked up at Kazuya, and found the boy looking at him intensely, his eyes bright, giving him what looked like an innocent, amused smile that Toma was sure wouldn’t look as innocent on another person.
What was he thinking…?
Don’t come any closer!
He felt his vision shook for a split second, and then he noticed that the distance between him and Kazuya was bigger than before. How could that happen? Did Kazuya move and take a step back? No, if Kazuya took a step back, then he would have seen it. Then why…?
His right hand twitched. He looked at it as if it had betrayed him, and hoped that Kazuya hadn’t noticed it. It was vital to not let your opponent see the condition you were in, after all.
Something, something was definitely wrong here. If only he could figure out what it was…
Kazuya was watching him, watching his every move, and Toma felt exposed somehow - not the kind of exposed one might feel when someone tried to bare you with their eyes only, but the kind of exposed a laboratory rat might feel just before some awful experiment was bestowed upon it, just like a helpless rabbit being watched and surrounded by a horde of hungry wolves, or a lone soldier in the middle of his enemies’ troops with so many rifles pointed at his head.
A feeling of helplessness, like there was no way out, no escape, and the only thing you could do was to resign to the inevitable.
And right now - right now Kazuya was looking at him in a way that made his skin crawl and a shiver run down his spine - not because he was cold, not because he was excited, or because he was anticipating something that was promised to be fun, but because - because he felt like - like he was actually -
What, what was this feeling, that swelling inside his chest and making him restless and uneasy? This feeling - that told him to go from there, to run away from Kazuya. God, it was only Kazuya! What - just why exactly he reacted like this?
“What’s wrong, Toma?” Kazuya smiled, head tilted to the side just so, and his smile looked too sincere to be anything but taunting.
Kazuya took a step forward.
Toma unconsciously stepped backward.
He froze.
What? He felt his eyes widened slightly when he realized what he had done. He was the one who had taken a step back, not Kazuya. He was the one who had involuntarily taken a step back. Him, Ikuta Toma, who never backed off from anything, actually had just taken a step back.
Just, just why would he - why did he -
He pressed his palm against his chest; there was a loud thump, thump coming from his chest, and Toma realized it was his heart, beating furiously against his ribs, threatening to burst out any second and filling his veins with something - something that froze his insides and made him feel cold all over, unable to move.
It was fear, Toma realized with a jolt. Fear.
He was afraid of Kazuya.
He was. Afraid. Of. Kazuya.
Kazuya, the fragile-looking boy who looked like even the slightest touch would break him, that if you touched him the wrong way or held him too hard, he would shatter. But looking at Kazuya now, Toma knew it wasn’t true, and perhaps had never been true, because instead of breaking, it looked like Kazuya would lash out and break you instead.
The corner of Toma’s lips quirked up a little, forming something between a grimace and a small smile. Interesting. How unexpected, Toma thought, and how appropriate.
He was afraid of Kazuya.
He gritted his teeth, and realized he was actually sweating profusely.
Fear.
It had been such a long time since he felt this kind of emotion, so strong that it filled every fiber in his being and affected every cell in his body. The last time he had felt something similar to this was two years ago, when he was worried about Tomohisa, when he had been afraid for Tomohisa because he just couldn’t do anything else for him, and Tomohisa also didn’t let him - so the only thing he could do was feel afraid for him, because he knew Tomohisa would never allow himself to feel it.
He wondered if Kazuya had ever showed this side of him to Jin at all. Nah, he probably never had.
Toma smirked. For some reason, he felt some strange satisfaction at the knowledge that he knew something about Kazuya that Jin didn’t.
Then another surge of emotion hit him, this time warmed him all over, filling him with something akin to warmth, and there was this touch of gentle feeling to it. His heart was still beating furiously, but instead of trying to burst out of his chest like before, now it felt like his heart was only trying to prepare him for something fun and exciting.
Then the realization dawned on him: it was love.
He was in love; he was in love with this boy who had managed to strike a fear in him - something that only few could do, including his unmentionable boyfriend.
Ah, the beauty of falling in love!
In one swift movement, he strolled down to Kazuya and took one of Kazuya’s hands in his and pressed it against his chest, over his heart - no doubt taking Kazuya by surprise, judging by the expression on his face.
“Oh my God. Kamenashi Kazuya, I think I’m in love with you.” Toma declared somewhat breathlessly. “I love people who are vain. And shameless. And just plain evil. Especially Devil in Angel’s Clothes Type.”
A vein popped up on Kazuya’s forehead. “Are you having a death wish or something?” he said, trying to get his hand back - to no avail, of course, for Toma kept holding on and not planning to let go anytime soon.
“Ah, your death threat is as intoxicating as your kiss would be.” He drawled cheerfully. Then in much more serious voice, he said: “Please, marry me.”
Kazuya kept trying to get his hand back, but Toma knew he was surprisingly strong for someone whose appearance always radiated indolence and laziness, so of course Kazuya’s attempts were all in vain.
“Too bad - “ Kazuya pulled his hand as hard as he could, “ - I’m taken.” Still no avail.
“Don’t worry.” Said Toma, still not letting go of Kazuya’s hand. “I’m sure Tomohisa wouldn’t mind sharing.”
“… what?” Kazuya said weakly, apparently too busy trying to pull his hand back to really pay attention to Toma’s words, for his whole expression clearly screaming Give me my hand back, you bastard!
How adorable, Toma thought.
“I’m not into incest - for Tomohisa is kinda like my own son, you see - and certainly I’m also not one to go for my son-in-law-to-be, but if it’s with you, I wouldn’t mind a threesome.” He said easily, like it was actually the most normal thing to be said in this whole universe.
“I MIND!” Kazuya shouted, sounding both horrified and exasperated. “SO LET GO OF MY HAND THIS INSTANCE!”
Toma blatantly ignored him. And instead of releasing Kazuya’s hand like he asked him to, Toma bent down slightly, slowly brought Kazuya’s hand close to his mouth and bestowed a kiss onto the inside of his wrist gently while looking right into Kazuya’s eyes, just like a gentleman would a lady.
He glanced once again at Kazuya, and he saw the look of sheer horror frozen on Kazuya’s face.
Toma knew he should feel either insulted or worried, because Kazuya’s reaction could also mean that there was something wrong with his kissing technique, but he couldn’t help feeling amused by it. And he actually only kissed the inside of his wrist! He wondered how Kazuya would react if he actually kissed him on the lips
Oh wait.
He had done just that, in the elevator some time ago when he tried to get a reaction out of Tomohisa. Oh well, Toma thought disappointedly. Too bad at the time he had been too busy watching Tomohisa’s reaction to properly observe Kazuya’s. Perhaps he should just try it now?
So he took a stepped up to Kazuya and leaned forward, intending to kiss him on the lips while Kazuya appeared to be still in some state of shock, but then a booted foot landed square on his chest, preventing him from getting nearer any farther. He glanced down, and found that it belonged to Kazuya.
“What are you doing?” Toma asked, puzzled, because putting your booted foot on one’s chest was impolite, and hadn’t Kazuya always been such a polite kid?
“You were about to kiss me!” he shrieked in a high pitched voice, still trying to get his hand back.
Toma only looked mildly puzzled. “So?”
Kazuya looked like he was trying hard to suppress the urge to scream in distress. “Look,” he said, looking frustrated and utterly victimized. “I just want to know where I could find Yamapi. I mean, you’re his closest friend, right? So you must know where to find him.”
Toma tried to get closer again, but Kazuya applied more pressure to his foot, keeping him in place. “Saa~” he said distractedly.
Kazuya visibly gritted his teeth and looked like he was chanting some spell that suspiciously sounded like ‘killing is illegal, killing is illegal, don’t kill your own friend, prison clothes has no sense of style’.
“Can’t you just tell me already? I swear I won’t bug you ever again!”
“Mou, but if you never bug me again, I’ll miss you~” he sing-sang cheerfully.
Now Kazuya looked ready to kill him. Toma had to admit that was a sexy look on him. He made a mental note to infuriate Kazuya more often.
However, there just seemed to be something about a scary Kazuya, or perhaps a reference to it that he had heard somewhere… now if only he could remember it…
“Toma, I swear - “
“Ah!” Toma clasped his hands together once as he remembered it. “So you’re the one who terrorized HaseJun until he was too traumatized to even tell me what happened to him! Hmm, and you must be also the one who intimidated Kazama-pun until even the sight of me actually scared him to no end, because apparently if he was seen with me, the scary person will come after him again.” He whistled in amazement.
Another vein popped up on Kazuya’s forehead. “I did no such thing! I merely asked them if they knew how to contact you!”
Toma raised an eyebrow. “Must be one hell of a wonder, then, the way you asked them. I think you really scared the shit out of both of them. I swear, they must be traumatized for life.”
Kazuya looked like only one step away from committing suicide right there and then. “Toma!” he shouted in frustration, apparently already on the verge of tearing his hair out.
Toma watched him amusedly. He thought he could sympathize with Kazuya, since so many people already informed him how infuriating he could be at times.
“Fine!” Kazuya said resignedly, letting his foot down, and Toma felt his hand go limp in his as Kazuya gave no more resistance. “Fine. I give up.” Kazuya said again, holding up his free hand up in surrender gesture. “I give up! I won’t ask anything to you again, so can you return my hand back to me, please?” he asked politely.
Toma’s face fell. “What, you give up that easily? And here I thought Tomohisa’s important to you…”
Kazuya bristled. “He’s important to me! But I need to be alive to find him, and if I spend anymore minute with you, I’d end up killing either one of us out of sheer frustration and I’m sure it’s going to be me because killing you is just so bothersome and I just know you’re going to haunt me for the rest of my life if I did!”
How Kazuya actually managed to say it all in one breath was really a wonder to Toma, but he was impressed all the same.
“Whoa. That was quite impressive. Do that again, please?” he requested.
“Toma!” Kazuya shouted again in frustration. Toma kinda liked the way he shouted his name like that. “Return! My hand! Back! To me!”
“But I like your hand. It’s smaller than mine, and the skin’s so smooth, too! I want to keep it!” Toma exclaimed cheerfully, and Kazuya seemed to almost give in to the temptation to just kill them both and be done with it.
Then something over Toma’s shoulder seemed to catch his attention. “Ah, Matsumoto-senpai! HELP!” Kazuya cried out desperately.
Matsumoto-senpai?
Toma turned his head to look over his shoulder, and he saw a surprised-looking Matsujun standing at the door, just about to open it. He looked a little pleased when he noticed Kazuya, but the look instantly turned into a sour and dismayed one when he recognized Toma.
“Ikuta Toma.” Matsujun acknowledged him, closing the door behind him and walking closer to them.
“Ah, Matsumoto Jun.” Toma said pleasantly. “You are vain, but you’re not evil enough. Sorry, man.” He said sympathetically.
The corner of Matsujun’s left eye twitched. “I see you’re still as infuriating as ever.” He remarked. Then he seemed to take notice of the scene before him, with one of Kazuya’s hand still being captured in between Toma’s ones over his chest. “… What are you doing?”
Toma was thinking about an unreasonable answer to retort back, but unfortunately, Kazuya used that moment of distraction to slip his hand off of Toma’s grip and ran over to hide behind Matsujun.
“Kame-chan…?” Matsujun called over his shoulder, but Kazuya only looked at Toma with terrified eyes.
Toma snickered.
Matsujun sighed. “What did you do now?” he addressed Toma with an air of someone who had already gotten used to being surrounded by general lunacy, thus whatever Toma’s answer might be, it wouldn’t surprise him.
“What?” Toma exclaimed dramatically in mock-hurt. “I was only showing him my love!” And he watched with interest as the side of Matsujun’s shirt seemed to crumple. Kazuya must have unconsciously fisted the fabric of the back of Matsujun’s shirt with his hands.
Aww, how cute. Despite everything, it turned out that Kazuya was still a little kid, after all.
Matsujun turned around to Kazuya then, and asked concernedly, “Kame-chan, are you alright?”
Toma watched as Matsujun fussed over Kazuya, and he fingered the set of keys in his jeans’ pocket. It should be fine, Kazuya should be fine. Kazuya might appear sweet and innocent, but he also could be mean and fierce when he needed to, and most importantly, he knew how to control himself and his surrounding if the situation demanded it.
Right. Who he was kidding? The boy was unbeatable. With Tomohisa’s slyness and Jin’s look of innocence, Kazuya could be quiet dangerous.
Kazuya should be more than okay to be with Tomohisa.
Toma smiled ruefully to himself. So the time finally came, huh? The time when he had to let go of Tomohisa.
“ - ma? Toma? Oi, you’re there?” Matsujun called, his voice snapped Toma back to reality, and from his tone, it appeared like ha had been trying to call him for quite some time.
“Saa…” Toma shrugged carelessly, then glanced at Kazuya, who seemed to shrink further into his senpai’s back.
Matsujun gave him a look. “Go down to the basement parking lot.” He commanded. “I’m sure you’ll find something interesting there.”
Toma crossed his arms and raising his eyebrow at him. “Nice try, but you’re not getting rid of me.”
“Just go down there. I think you’ve given your junior enough trauma already.” The Arashi member said, giving Kazuya a quick look just as Kazuya let out some strange noises of protest. Toma tried not to snigger. “Oh, and you’ll owe me one for this.” Matsujun added to him.
Toma’s eyes lit up. “Ah, could it be -“
“Yeah, yeah. Just go. And be quick. Also, please, don’t show him your love too properly.” He made a face.
“Matsujun, you naughty boy!” Toma exclaimed happily, blowing him a kiss, before turning around to walk down the stairs. But as he walked, there were some crinkling noises came from his jeans pocket, and he slowly came to a halt. He pulled the thing out, and stared at it thoughtfully.
It should be okay, he told himself. It should be fine.
“Kazuya!” he called, and when Kazuya turned, he tossed the set of keys to him, which Kazuya caught easily. “Go to the address written on the keychain. You’ll find, ah, our mutual interest there.” He winked and smiled inappropriately.
Matsujun looked at him suspiciously, while Kazuya stared between him and the keys on his hand in surprise.
Without waiting for a reply, he walked away from there, his steps light and cheerful, hiding how he truly felt at the moment.
He was the one who had accidentally set everything in motion, and for what? This was what he wanted, right? For Tomohisa to find someone who could understand him, who needed him, and wouldn’t judge his action?
So really, he had nothing to be sad or depressed about. If anything, he should be happy for Tomohisa. And Kazuya.
He halted to a stop just before he reached the door to the parking lot, and slapped himself on the cheeks lightly twice to try to fix his expression. It wouldn’t do if he was to look anything but cheerful and uncaring. He had an image to keep, after all. So he took a very deep breath, and pulled the handle on the door.
The first thing that greeted his sight as he stepped to the parking lot was his unmentionable-boyfriend, leaning his back on the side of the car, looking unperturbed by the world around him.
A slow and easy smile blossomed on Toma’s face without him ever commanding it to. People often said one of the signs that you were in love was if the moment you saw the person you loved, it was as if your problems went away, and all you could feel was this light, content feeling that set on your heart.
And right now - right now, Toma was feeling just like that: content.
The other person smiled when he finally noticed him, and straightened his pose.
“Oh dear supposedly-not-exist-boyfriend of mine… did you miss my presence?” Toma drawled as he walked closer, looking expectantly at the person before him. Then he looked around them for a moment, making sure none was around, before quickly stood on his tiptoes and stole a chaste kiss from the other’s lips.
The other person raised his eyebrows inquiringly, looking deeply amused. “You have that ungodly sparkle in your eyes. Did you find some new toy or something?” he asked playfully.
“Saa~“ Toma said mysteriously. “I might have found an interesting one…” he trailed off and smiled, thinking about Kazuya and his horrified reactions. “It depends, though.” He shrugged.
The person before him chuckled. “Do I need to prepare a lawyer for you?”
“Mou~ I’m not doing something illegal, you know.” He pouted. “Teasing does not count as an illegal activity.” Jin might argue with him on that if it was Kazuya he was teasing, though.
“Just stay out of trouble, okay?” his supposedly-not-exist-boyfriend smiled amusedly, ruffling his hair slightly.
“Hey! I’m insulted! I’ve never got into trouble in my whole life.” He protested childishly. “You’re supposed to cheer me up, you know.” He sulked. “Because now I think I know how a parent feels at their son’s wedding day: proud and sad at the same time. Proud because their son is finally able to be on his own without anyone’s help, and sad because of the loss.” And he let out a tired sigh, leaning his back on the car’s side dejectedly.
“Hey, hey. Shouldn’t you be happy instead?”
“I’m happy!” he exclaimed loudly. “It’s just… well, you know, I’m a bit disappointed because Tomohisa’s a bit possessive and never likes sharing, which means there’s no chance he’d agree to my awesome threesome idea.” He sighed again. Such a pity. And the horror-struck expression Kazuya showed him when he proposed it to him was just too cute and priceless, so of course Toma wouldn’t stop teasing him about it.
His supposedly-not-exist boyfriend made a face at him. “Please tell me you’re kidding.”
“If you kiss me right at this second, I’ll swear I was only kidding.” He dared him, smiling charmingly.
However, a second later, Toma was caught by surprise when the other boy did just that - kissed him on the mouth, that was, since he knew the other wasn’t really fond of showing public affection, and he was mostly only joking when he dared him just now. But he would take what he could get, really, so he kissed him back - kissed him back right there in the basement parking lot of Jyannis building, not caring about who might see them. His hands snaked themselves around the other’s shoulders, and he tilted his head to the side to deepen their kiss -
“OH MY GOD.”
They quickly broke apart and looked at the source of the sound only to find Matsujun make a face at them.
“Please, spare me the show and stop trying to haywire my brain.” He muttered disgustedly. “Please, I beg you. I kind of like having my brain intact, thank you very much.”
Toma stuck out his tongue at Matsujun. “You’re booooring.”
“And please, keep your tongue where it belongs.”
Toma smirked. “Why, Matsujun, I never knew you actually think about my tongue all that much.” He leered suggestively, licking his lips slowly and deliberately for good measure.
Matsujun turned to his supposedly not-exist-boyfriend instead. “May I kill him?” he asked politely.
The other boy shrugged. “As long as you don’t involve me.”
“Hey!” Toma protested.
“Is it time to go back to the set?” the person before Toma addressed Matsujun.
Matsujun, the fun-ruiner, party-pooper and vain person that he was, innocently replied, “Yeah. The director must be looking for us right now.” Toma could swear there was that malicious glint in Matsujun’s eyes when he said that!
Because then his supposedly-not-exist-boyfriend turned to him and said regretfully, “Looks like I gotta go. Let’s continue this later, okay?” and he gave him a quick peck on the lips before entering his car with a grinning Matsujun.
As the car was about to depart with his unmentionable-person on the driver seat, Toma made a rude gesture at the general direction of the car which he knew Matsujun would pick up from the rear-view mirror. Yeah, and Matsujun got it alright, because then he made a victory sign, gesturing the car and the driver, and flashed him an annoyingly smug and delighted grin just before the car made a turn and disappeared from his sight.
Toma made a mental note to give Nino-kun some useful tips that he could use to make Matsujun suffer. Suffer!
Oh well. Better go bug Kazama-pun now.
