I took a long walk. . . .
this weekend was long, but worth it.
i saw the Trio on Friday in Ohio.
gaaaah i fucking love them.
on the way there, i was really stoked that i was going with catlin (my sister) and siobhan. and the hotel was going to be sweet (when we got there the guy told us not to get in trouble, nor arrested and i was really pissed off because i though he was judging us, by the way that i dressed. but turns out, the next day he told us that he heard the bottles clinking in our bags haha.). then Sio put on Crimson and my heart just started beating because it was when I realized that i was actually going to go see them again. i love that they can do that to me.
we had a hotel, and got there late. i didnt drink that much, and im glad that i didnt because i wouldnt have lasted in that pit if i had.
i walked to the venue, got there late, sold my extra ticket.
waited around for my sister and sio to arrive.
i had enough vodka in me to actually speak to Ms. Heather and she was super nice to me. I went up to the booth and nerdily explained how derek said there were scarves for the blood pact. she said that she remembered me (probably because ive seen 4 times since may 5th and have looked at merch all but one time. and in TO she couldn't take my american money. so i only bought shoe laces but tipped her 5 american because i think she's fucking sweet) so i finally had the guts to ask for a picture. i bought like 70 bucks worth of merch (Shirt with eyes in a bloody punch bowl, it reminded me of halloween soo much because my parents used to throw sweet parties for my older brother and sister and they did something to make it feel like they were passing around eye balls. i was too young to join the fun :( the scarf, and a hoodie that has the heart cut in two, and it zips up. i also bought the pin pack) then i tipped her 7 bucks and she was very grateful for it.
30 seconds to mars. how funny is it that Jordan Catallino from "My So- Called Life." is the lead singer of the band? after i found this out, i couldnt take them seriously. right before they came on this girl wanted to see my tattoo and then her and her bf were talkin to us. it was cool to converse with someone that was closer to my age range (without being younger!)
reggie was fun. i really like the new cd, so i think that i should buy some of the older ones. james is a good man! he was at his booth after the Trio's set. and singing mcr songs. with these huge old man glasses. i think i have a little crush on him haha.
alkaline trio were great. the crowd was crazy. the energy felt almost like it would have if they were headlineing (with some exceptions, obviously) they played 12 songs, not too bad for opening! i was ready to pass out at one point, and i swear i thought I heard Matt say my name. hahah how fan girl is that, huh, huh?
during the mcr set i got out of the pit because i didnt want little bitches pissing me off. i was sitting and singing really loud kind of to annoy the others sitting around me with thier parents when I realized that i had lost my camera and picture of heather in the pit during reggie. and i was sad. so i asked my friend for her camera (i met back up with my sister and her after alkaline, because they couldnt make it to the front) and i ran back to the booth to explain that i was a douchebag and i really needed another picture with heather. i looked like a creep but ooh well. she was so sweet. sometimes i hear that she is a bitch, but she was very nice to me, and that excited me. i told her i love her work, and said that i might go to school for design and that she is why! we (mostly me, but heather smiled and agreed with me) also were making fun of jordan (seconds to mars) when he was no further than 10 feet away. opps, i'm a bitch.
when i turned around, my sister and friend were there. and thats when cat spotted matt! i must have walked right past him. hes such a sweet person. I just said Hi and had my hoodie on (because i was horrid after that pit) and he goes hi, ooh hey, i didnt recognise you under your hoodie. how are you glad you came, sorry no bp meet and greet, ect ect. it's pretty cool to have him at least remember my face.
this is so general. sorry! i had a good time and may go to the allentown, pa show because they will be headlinging. that would be exciting.
i will have pictures eventually of the shit i bought, the shoes i made, me/heather, me/cat/matty, and the way there/ back.

and during This could be love, 'it injects the poisons of ____ iv" i couldn't hear what he said last nite, because he usually changes it live. i have heard alcohol, pcp, and vicodin before. someone should listen out for it!
edit for this P.S. Gerard (singer of MCR) was wearing a Priest suit. That didn't fly with me. I sat for their set because i was soaked and exhausted after Reggie and the Trio, and when I saw it, my jaw dropped and i looked at my sister, and we didn't even have to say anything, we both knew what each other were thinking. LAME!! I know the Trio weren't the first to do it, but it's like Derek's trademark (at least I think it is).

my dad's a douche. for some reason i can't take him yelling at me. im fucking nearing 20 and the man makes me break down every time he's an asshole to me. i dont get it.
anyways, there always seems to be a buzzkill when i come home from a trio show, but i can't see how the Shows aren't worth it. they are what keep me going. i know it sounds completely nerdy. but fuck it.
