Hmmm
perfect... so much weight on a 6 letter word. A weight so heavy that one can just crumble once it settle on the shoulders of the unsuspecting 'victim'.
“well, my manager told me this, other people have just 1 father and 1 mother but I have two fathers and two mothers and he says this means I have double the love and double the blessings. Words uttered from the same lips lips which when start singing will captivate hearts almost everywhere.
Sky... the sky is the same everywhere else. What i'm seeing here will be seen by someone else at the other side of the world... be it blue or gray... we still are under the same sky.
“Jaejoong -ah, dreaming away?” the chirpy one in the group hollered to the eldest. No immediate response was heard. Only when the youngest sneaked quietly behind the eldest and brought both of his hands palm side down, hard onto Jaejoong's shoulders did Jaejoong snapped out of his 'trance' and yelped. The others laughed at that and Jaejoong for the 1st time for the day laughed his signature laugh.
Not too far from Jaejoong's view, a gaze full of meaning, of understanding yet also of twinkling mischievous just by looking at the scene unfolding in front of him. And another pair of eyes moving slowly back and forth between the 'watcher' and the one being ' watched' and full lips slowly carved into a smile.
“Jaejoong, shall we go take a drive together? Just you and me?” asks the taller of the two. Jaejoong turned and replied “sure, why not, maybe along the way we can grab some food home for dinner.”
Yunho smiled and slaps a hand onto Jaejoong's back, “then let's go!”
as the 2 eldest make their way out of their apartment, Yunho hollered “ dinner will be late, so for those who cant wait, there's plenty of cup noodles in the kitchen!”
Jaejoong hit Yunho on his left arm playfully as they exited the apartment. The youngest groaned loudly as he made a dramatic collapse and sat on the couch in the living room, his 2 hyungs being oblivious to him.
As they were about to enter the car, Jaejoong says “Yunho-ah, let me drive.” Yunho arched an eyebrow and asked “ are you sure?” Jaejoong nodded and made his way to the driver seat, exchanging positions as yunho went over to the passenger side beside the driver. “so where are we going?” Jaejoong asked as he ignited the engine, Yunho shrugged, “ur the driver, u decide.” Jaejoong reversed the car and got out of the parking lot.
They drove in silence along the way, the almost silent humming of the vehicle they are in doing nothing to the atmosphere... the sun was setting as they drive along and when it was about to completely sink in, Jaejoong braked, causing Yunho to jerk forward slightly surprised. Jaejoong then gazed at the disappearing rays of the sun and he slowly closed his eyes. Yunho unfastened his seat belt and reached for Jae's left hand on the steering wheel, he gave it a gentle squeeze. Jaejoong then ran his right hand across his hair, sighed and opened his eyes. 2 pairs of eyes locked onto each other. “Yunho-ah, my heart refused to listen to my mind and my mind refuses to heed my heart's 'song'. I feel burdened, there's just no other words to describe the way I feel now... “ Yunho reached over and hugged jaejoong, embracing him tightly like how a young child would to a soft toy when the child needs comfort. Jaejoong returned the affection but he was the one to break the bug and moved out of the car. “ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kim Jae-joong!” Jaejoong hollered out to the open sea. The scream penetrating the 'young' night. Yunho was out and about, standing beside Jaejoong, hands in his pocket, eyes fixed onto his treasured. “hah! Double happiness? What a load of crap coming out from me. I'm broken, but I need to hide that fact, and whose fault is it? Aaahhh!!!!!”
Yunho kicked imaginary dust on the ground with his left foot. Jaejoong turned to look at Yunho and asked “Yunho, why are you with me?” Yunho lifted his eyes and taking in the cold vibe from the 2 dark pools belonging to the other. Yunho didnt answer immediately, instead he neared Jaejong and answered, with his understanding of the question.
“i'm here with you, because you are the dream which comes alive only to me. You are the soft hum which accompanies my heartbeat, i'm here because you are the intensity which pushes me on. Im here simply because my heart, mind and soul belongs to you.” with that Yunho planted a soft kiss on jaejoong's forehead. He gazed deep into Jaejoong's eyes soon after and uttered “ and being with you, is where I want to stay.” Jaejoong brushes his lips onto the other and deepened it, one that's filled with longing and adoration. “what if 1 day u decide to leave me? Just like how my parents did to a very young me then? What if the humming becomes so faint it vanished into the background, lost in the vacuum?” Jaejoong asked as their foreheads touched after. “then what will I be then? Am I supposed to swallow the pain and hide away the hurt too?”
Yunho knows that the heart of the other is taking in too much into its small capacity. Yunho only wish is to hold Jaejoong and tell him that everything will be alright cause that's how its going to be, Yunho and Jaejoong, a fit. But no Yunho didnt, cause he knows that's not what the other wants to hear, not now. “Yunho, what if I crumble, and grabbed for you, yet you're not there, what if I just want you to be here with me always, never letting you go, embracing you, smothering you, claiming you to be mine and mine only, will you still stay? Can you?”
“Jaejoong, how you want me to be with you, that much, that's how much I need you too. I don't have to care about anything else as long as you're by my side.. that's how it should be. I'm human too, with flaws, everything looks so perfect to the human eye, but with you Jae, all guards are down, that's how I know that you and me, this is meant to be. It's not just any other thing, this bond, this, is, affinity. Believe me will you?”
Jaejoong gazes deep into the taller one's dark pools, submerged himself, he felt his heart soared.. for now.....
