It's summer. This semester was the busiest of my life. I'm sorry I didn't keep in touch. But yeah, I'm back and ready to lead the slow life again.
What happened:
O-week coordinator: The role that redefined my life this semester. I have never been so devoted to anything before as I have been to the orientation of the Martel class of 2010. Even marching band. I love it. I am completely committed to changing the lives of many of the incoming students for the better. I would not change anything about it - the experiences, the friendships, the hope that it gives me everyday... I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's my firstborn child.
Real classes: As I said last winter, I finally got to take specialization classes this semester. They somewhat rocked me. Not so much difficulty-wise as time committment. I didn't give any of my classes enough time this semester. I am pretty disappointed in myself for that, but I made it - with only a slight hit to my GPA.
OC: Bike to Rice. Bike to Providence. Oh, I need to go back. Bike to Rice. Eat out every night of the week. Be confused for an on-campus student by nearly all the new students at Martel. Am I glad to be back on-campus next semester? With the exception of servery food, hell yes.
So we're seniors now. I have cultivated many friendships and keep thinking that I need to work on cultivating my self. And that's what this summer and next year are for.
I need to start giving more thought to the future. Particularly where I will live. It's a massive flashback to senior year of HS. Will I end up going somewhere where I know no one again? What the heck is important to me about a hometown anyhow? All good questions. And I have no idea of any of the answers.
And this IS a Livejournal so here's the cliche: "Wah, I want some girl-loving."
Phew, glad I got that out of my system by posting it on the internet. :D
How are you all doing?
P.S. I will be in Arizona from May 23 to June 1. Chandlerites: let's hang out.
