I hate waiting...
So, I'm all ready to send off my application (it's due tuesday), so of course I'm still waiting for one of my profs to let me know he's filled out my referee's form. Grrrr. I know he's doing me this huge favour, but I definately told him I wanted to send them by the end of the week, and really, if he didn't have the time, he could have told me "no." Now I'm gonna have to priority courier it, which costs more. It will be all worth it if I even get in... But I think my personal letter of intent is ... meh. And I'm feeling pessimistic.
On the up side, they did find my scantron last week (I still can't believe that it was stuck to another one... way to go). So now all I have to do is work on my scholarship application, cause that's due on tuesday as well (but postmarked by then... phew!). I'm also looking into summer jobs, hopefully in a related field, but we'll see. Don't really want to go back to my old job (too much drama). So far, things have been ok.
Laura's visit went well. We managed the drink the entire box of wine (although I didn't finish my last glass... shhhh). We never made it out that night though. We made it in line, but after >1.5 hours we'd had enough. Plus Liz had forgotten her ID. We came home and planned to go out to make the "late" crowd, but ended up crashing in front of the tv instead. Oops!
That's all for now. I already have a midterm and a quiz next week. Plus several assignments I really need to start working on. Sigh!
