Public update
Hey all,
It occured to me that I'd left my miserable dental post up as my last update for far too long. So here's the new year, public style.
I have my first MP3 player. It rocks my socks off. Yes, most of it's memory is taken up by musicals, and a little bit by Dr. Who radio shows. You don't like it, bite me.
I may have over-read this holliday season. So many books that I'm not eager to take on a new one. On the other hand, when my current crop of reading runs out I'm going to want something light and fun. I'll take suggestions in comments if anyone want to make some.
I've started taking a class (Tues, Thurs nights, some Sat mornings), in addition to full time employment. Yes, I'm stupid. Yes, I like it. So far. It's ten credit hours in ten weeks, so it's a bit of an adventure . On the other hand I've had an instructor already quell my efforts to delve into details that would actually be helpful rather than basic frivolous coverage, which is annoying. That's alright though, there are three professors and I don't have to like them all.
I'm kind of burnt out on politics. I haven't got the level of attention or interest for the fire and brimstone blogging right now. Just as well. It's an incredible time sink.
The hollidays were a good time to see people I haven't seen in a long time. I hope that people stay in touch, becuase I was genuinely glad to reaquaint with them.
That's pretty much it right now. I'm a little frustrated with my current role playing situation, and a little eager to jump into a new one, preferably with some or all new people to escape the specific gravity of persistant social issues. I want something new, something more intimate, and something where there's a higher average level of participation by the players. God damn, I could use some good stories.
