War of the Worlds...mmm...formats

We have seen browser war, OS war, lotsa patent wars and ofcourse the war on terrorism. Presenting the start of new format war. The previous format war was in the 80s between VHS and Beta. The new format war is between Blu-ray and HD-DVD. It would be interesting to see who is going to be the winner. The 80s war was lost by Sony, will the history repeat and Sony lose another war.

Cnet has a nice article on the war and it seems to me that results are going to be out once Sony releases PS3.
