It's frustrating to not be able to have a real conversation with someone capable of both talking and listening. There seems to be something of a deficit with the latter attribute.
While the above statement is inspired by one particular person, I find I experience this same frustration with numerous others. Therefore you might draw the conclusion that the problem lies with me. Mayhaps. I haven't arrived at such a conclusion yet. It's possible I may, but at this point I remain unconvinced.
The possibility that someone is hard of hearing as a possible explanation would only "cut it" if said person were also blind.
