Saturday 19th November 2005,
Woke up at 5:something in the morning to get ready to meet my wolf at Stansted as he came down to visit me, and my home city of Cambridge, Well I got the 8:10am train to Stansted from Cambridge and was at the airport 8:40am, Wuffs flight was due to be landed at half 8 but was a little delayed so I had plenty of time to try and compose (panic) myself about seeing him..

well eventually I got through to his T-Mobile phone only to see him through some doors at the airport while he was waiting for his luggage which.. wasn't there...

Eventually wuff entered the airport rather upset and panic stricken but we managed to find out that the bag in the end had been left in Glasgow.. So we arranged to pick it up when it made it to Stansted. and we decided to leave in favour of the train for Cambridge.. Off we went with comments like "1 out of 10 so far for no hills" or something along those lines we arrived into Cambridge and got the bus to the city centre and went for a general pad about up towards Lion Yard (yay) and through it, a quick look in HMV a pad along Petty Cury where wuff commented on the stink of a local "smelly" shop.. then through the market square then up towards Bridge Street to the cam for wuff to see the punts and the ducks. It was a lovely sight, the light caught the area wonderfully and it was nice to just stand there and watch the punts and the rather hyperactive ducks. then we had a little paddle around the odd college and back to the market.. then we got a bus to Tesco Newmarket Road where wuff say where I worked (Tesco DING) and we had foodage there. It worried me a little that I had to reach over and help the Cafe till operator get rid of an error message.. She didn't react badly. she seemed relieved I had helped..

A little pad about the store for nibbles before we headed off for the hotel, We caught the citi 3 back to the city centre and off to Cherry Hinton where we walked the rest to the Holiday Inn Express we got in an flop, We were shattered, After a long period of cuddling we admired the room, It was very nice indeed, Everything was so comfortable. After a loooonng time in the hotel there was a phone call to let wuff know his bag had arrived. So we eventually pried ourselves out of the room and back to the station, this was gone 9pm on a Saturday and the buses has died down, we only had to wait a few mins for it. We got to the station and had to change at Bishops Stortford in order to get to Stansted Airport and it was cold ( Or as wuff liked to call it "You have superior cold" with a 20min wait each way, We legged it into the airport for 22:45 and got the bag and managed to get the 23:00 back from the airport with another 20min connection at Bishops Stortford, But we were back in Cambridge for 00:11 or so. Rather than the 01:20 I had estimated. We noticed on the way back that the bag had gone via Belfast.. ARRGggh. After waiting in the cold a for a lil bit we got a taxi back to the hotel and snuggled again. And eventually fell asleep.

We awoke for a rather nice breakfast (complimentary of course) it had fresh baked bread and it was mrrrr we snuggled (again!) and eventually after staying in the room a tiiiinncyy big longer than we should we were on our way. So.. What did we do... LONDON..

We got the train to London which was not as fast as usual due to engineering works and we arrived and wuff seemed to be a little shocked on arrival was it "eww" or "wow" who knows, Any who we had a nice pad about in plushie shops and such and had pizza and other than one hot crammed tube journey we had a lovely afternoon in London,

We got the 19:15 to Stansted and I put wuff on a plane back to Glasgow, It was a very hard thing to do. I didn't show it well but it crushed me. I tried hard not to upset myself but when I got on the train home and my phone battery died, It was sheer pain I felt. But I was content in a way as I had a chance to see wuff again. But I could not contain myself as I cycled back from the station to my home I literally fell apart. To feel the winter cold and the roads almost silent as I look down the empty streets without the warmth of my wolf beside me. Just the cold air in my mane, I managed to calm myself enough to sneak in and that was the weekend.

My feelings seem to ever grow. I love him.

Popdog thanks for a wonderful weekend...
