That nice trip to Haagen Dazs yesterday was definitely worth it, despite dessert being more expensive than our actual dinner at Sizzlin' Pepper Steak.
The ice cream treat was borne out of a bet we had more than a year ago, even before I started courting her. I obviously lost the bet.

What I bought her instead of a single scoop of ice cream because she's already my girlfriend: Paradise (and yeah, that's me in the background in my 3rd Yr V-neck uniform)
I didn't bring her there just because of a deal we made. She deserves it. The fact that she puts up with me even when she already knows and experiences how much we clash yet still loves me dearly is worth pulling out my reserves to treat her to some fancy sweets. Aside from that, she has just taken a couple of baby steps towards her dreams and I want her to know that I support her all the way.
She was all smiles and I knew right away that she liked it.
