The last time I took out "the notebook" was 2009, when I was pouring my heart out over a break-up that everyone was expecting to happen sooner or later.
Everything else in between are written in scraps of paper, at the back of my handouts, the last few pages of my school notebooks, at the bottom of my examination papers, and random receipts. If not there, they probably ended up as text messages I sent to 25% of the people in my phonebook.
Most, however, became nothing but creative lines jazzing up in my head that disappeared the moment I stepped down a bus or jeepney.
The most probable reason it took me years to hold it again is because its first page has doodles and the "Neko jingle" lyrics made by YOU.
