That...that actually works. It also has the bonus of not demeaning the work and sacrifice of the clone Asgard in any way. Very, very well done, Mhal. Also, that last bit between 'Tasha and John made my heart hurt; but it was nonetheless a very good, and very necessary, mother/son moment. You win at life.

P.S.: I kinda anticipate 'Tasha giving Tony all kinds of hell for hurting her baby. I don't know what his side of things is, but he was clearly the more experienced of the pair, and a certain degree of fault has to fall on him by logical deduction.

The SG Asgard were totally awesome - I really enjoyed their story arc and their contribution. I was always sort of sad that Thor couldn't roll his eyes at O'Neill, because *seriously*.

as for your PS - that's going to be addressed - there's more to the story for Tony and John, and Natasha is going to get to the bottom of things, no doubt ;)

That works well - much better than my "the Stargate Asgard are called that because bits of our timeline are sort of shadows of the real Asgard" explanation.

Enjoyed this a lot, I'll be interested to see where it goes next.

Thanks! I've been building to the big piece in this series - most everything else I've written has been to support the big piece, so it'll be fun to finally get to the meat of the series :D

I freaking love this series. I really like what you did with the Asgard, makes a lot of sense. Very much looking forward to what you do with Winter Soldier :)

thank you! Yeah, when I figured out the way I could wrap together the Asgard and the Asgard, I was all stoked.

And the Winter Soldier is going to be very interesting to bring into this mix :P
