It was only after Lorelai stormed into the kitchen to commiserate with Sookie that she realized Rory hadn't said a single thing about exactly what sort of work she was doing for the military.

Uh-oh - bad move, Rory, she'll really be on your case now!

I go away for a week and come back to a whole pile of ficcy goodness! Love this series, and can't wait to read more.

With Vala being hale and heartily annoying, Daniel hadn't come across any distressed damsels in months.

"Vala, put the book down," General Landry ordered. "How many times have I told you, no Sudoku in the briefing room?"

"You also missed it when Vala walked around backwards all day."

The only episode with Vala I've seen is the 200th, and she's really come to life for me here. In a delightful, crack-filled way. (Sudoku!)

I loved 200 so much - And Vala never really changes. She's a mystery wrapped inside a sugar-rush. Much Vala love.

Ehhhhhhh. Last line = AWESOME!!! Dude I'm waiting for Lorelai to go to Colorado looking for Rory I so am. OMG this is going to be good. Awe poor Rory always worrying over nothing. She'll be fine.

SIDENOTE: I need an SG1 icon know any good makers?

Yeah, Rory's really bad at keeping secrets from Lorelai, especially of this magnitude. Should be interesting...

stargate_icons has everything SG1 you'll ever need to icon.

You may call this an interlude, but I just call it more amazing writing! I really wanted to hug Daniel and his helpy tendencies and Vala with her sudoku book and Cam's confusion :) And I just can't help saying it again, you write Vala so darn well! Lovely part, can't wait for Rory to find out about Atlantis.

I called it an interlude in a fit of typing. We're not really in the action part of the story yet... and I needed to have some non-Rory POV for a bit. Plus writing Cam is hilarious.

Daniel has the tendency to want to help too much. It gets them in trouble, and he can't seem to help himself :)

Rory already knows that Atlantis exists, but the details on this will be coming out soon. Soon.

Vala is delicious, I'll admit :) She's made of awesome.

Mitchell is fun to write. He's got that country twang about him that needs to be gently mocked. He will return for this very purpose in a little bit :)
