fic meme: Icon pairings (in which I pair up everyone under the sun)

Nov 26, 2006 14:14

Fastest ficcing ever.

Gacked from embroiderama: Make a list of all the characters in your icons. (Although you may have more than one icon of a single character, they only go on the list once.) Alphabetize it. Take the first two people on the list; that's your first pairing. Second two people; second pairing. etc. (I fiddled a tiny bit only because I couldn't figure out a way to make a Jesus pairing).

Rated R for the sexual content in some, also warning for some mild slash.

Alec (Dark Angel) & Angel

He's a cocky sonofabitch, but in post-Pulse Seattle, a vampire can't be too picky. Especially when the snack in question was just a little too eager to gauge his strength, his weaknesses... Angel figures that the next vampire Alec meets will be on the losing end.

Anita Blake & Ben (Dark Angel)

She was wearing blue when he tackled her to the ground, out there in the lonely woods far from home. Anita tried to fight, but her leopard rose up, recognized him as kin, even though she knew damned well he wasn't a lycanthrope. Yeah, the sniffing her hair was weird, but at least he let her up in a few minutes.

Now if only he'd stop showing up to save her life every other month...

Buffy Summers & Daniel Jackson

He tripped at the museum and dropped his bag, spilling out the very book Buffy had been looking for. She's tried to get it from him, sure, but tact wasn't exactly her strong suit. In the end, she'd pointed over his shoulder, said, "Oh, a bear!" and grabbed the book from his hands when he looked around.

She'd find him and give it back. After she saved the world.

Dawn Summers & Dean Winchester

He was cute, but he was lurking outside the library at Stanford. Full-on lurking. He could have given Angel a run for his money. Curious, Dawn walked right up and introduced herself. They'd talked for a bizarre ten minutes about the merits of stalking, until Dawn heard her pal Jessica call her name. Turning around, Dawn saw Jess and her boyfriend Sam Winchester walk down the steps, and she frowned. She looked for her stalker buddy, but he had vanished. She just wished she knew why Stalker-boy had reminded her so much of Sam.

Elizabeth Weir & Ellen Harvelle

She didn't play up that she batted for both teams: A diplomat in the U.S, couldn't afford to be too careful, even across galaxies. But some nights on Atlantis, Elizabeth wondered what her first girlfriend was doing now, if Ellen every thought about her, how Ellen's suicidal quest against evil would have played out against the Wraith.

Most of all, Elizabeth misses the only person who ever knew the real her.

Faith & Harry Potter

Yeah, it was stupid, and wasn't he the same age as Dawn? But damn, the things that boy could do with a wand.

And she wasn't talking about the wooden stick.

Hermione Granger & Inara Serra

An immortal witch knew her way around the Core worlds, but Hermione knew her life was a lie. Perhaps it wasn't any wonder that like called to like. Inara didn't let on that she knew what Hermione was after, a taste of the smoky past, tangled up in Inara's silk sheets. But whenever Hermione called, Inara went to her side.

Jack O'Neill (Mini!Jack) & Jean-Claude

Jack supposed that the cloning process might have mixed up his genes a bit. After all, he'd never liked guys before. And even now, with Mr. Frilly Shirts and Long Hair an inch from death, Jack couldn't help but let the vamp have a little nibble. After all, he owed Anita.

But damn it, why did having the guy munch on his neck have to feel so fucking good?

Jo Harvelle & John Sheppard

He had a day before he went to Atlantis, she was cruising the bars in Colorado Springs. She couldn't have been any older than nineteen, even with her fake ID, and John felt like a pervert, touching her like that in her car behind the bar.

He figured she could take care of herself, though. She had a knife under the driver's seat and a gun in the glove box, and danger in her eyes.

He'd made himself kiss her goodbye, and lie about his phone number.

John Winchester & Lenore

John lied when he told the boys he thought there were no vampires left. He'd met Lenore decades before, four years after Mary's death, when things were still black and white, good and evil.

That had all been blown away in one hazy night, the touch of silken thighs, cool lips sliding down his body.

He never went near Red Lodge, Montana, again.

Luna Lovegood & Mal Reynolds

She was worse than River. At least the Tam girl was insane in the membrane. This Luna kid was all there, he knew well enough. She just hid it behind a distant gaze and a secret smile.

At least in his bunk he could ground her, make her real, make her cry out for him.

Micah Callahan & Nathaniel Graison

Micah knew that before, Nathaniel's alphas had taken protection out in trade for him. He told himself he was going to stop that, wasn't going to take advantage of someone who couldn't, wouldn't say no.

Next time, he told himself, as Nathaniel gave him that lazy smile and left the bed. Next time, he wasn't going to take advantage of someone who couldn't, wouldn't say no.

River Tam & Rodney McKay

She was insane. He got that. Still, watching her fingers dance across Atlantis's control panels, doing complicated physics in her head, was quite possibly the hottest thing Rodney had ever seen.

Sam Carter & Sam Winchester

His body looked twenty and his eyes looked eighty, like a man who'd lost too much, too soon. They'd talked, they'd drank, and somehow they'd ended up in his motel room. She saw the knife and guns on the counter and didn't care. He took her hard against the wall, then in the shower, then the bed.

Hearing him call out his own name when he came was enough to make her fall apart under him.

Selene & Spike

He admired her fashion sense and penchant for violence; she kicked his ass to the curb and back before they'd ended up fleeing yet another mob. He really hated Eastern Europe, but at least he got laid out of the deal.

Teyla Emmagen & Tonks

Teyla had never seen a woman who could change her appearance before, and it fascinated her. She'd seen Tonks change every part of her appearance, but after a month on Atlantis, Teyla finally convinced the witch that she looked the best when she was just being her long-legged, black-haired self.

Willow Rosenberg & Wolverine

She knew he had a thing for red-heads; it was fine, because she had a thing for guys who walked on the animal side. He was over a hundred, she was twenty-five, and she had decided that she was going to one day out-last him in bed if it was the last thing she ever did.

Some nights, she thought it might just be.
