Thank you! I'm always up to trying new fandoms, and this is the first I've written for Underworld, I think. I really want the DVD now, for the shiny non-run-out-of-bullets guns :)

It was a nice break from writing Inevitable, too.

Well, aside from this one (which I wrote this AM), I've got 3,181 words of the next chapter of Inevitable. The only thing that's stopping me from finishing it tonight is that I'm going to my ex-roommates one year closer to death birthday party in about an hour. And I can't get the Slughorn scene right. I mean, just how diplomatic is Harry, anyway? We know he can be a brat, but is he smooth?

Answer: No.

But it's a good a chance as any to set Hermione on edge. But I digress.

Oh, yay! I do so love Michael and Selene. Very nice, and I particularly enjoyed his ruminations on being dead. Poor guy.

Thanks :) I like Michael as a character in the movies more and more. For a guy who a week ago, story time, was just another guy, he pulled himself together nicely when everything went to hell.

Anyway, as I an wont to do, now I want to cross Underworld and Anita Blake. Oh, like I need another WIP, eh? ;)

I am so evil, but really...that'd be an amazing cross. I can just see Anita's brain exploding trying to figure out Michael (and Selene, for that matter). hehehe

I think she'd *get* Michael -- just an ordinary guy thrust into the preternatual world. Like Richard without all the soulsucking angst.

Selene, on the other hand.... Hide the fine china, folks, cuz things are about to get messy.

This was wonderful, very in character. Poor Michael, with the slight...dissapointment?...about his death. And just what is it with black-haired, shortish-type (can't really remember Selene's height) women and their guns, vampires and werewolfs?? Like, seriously, now...=P

It's the Buffy syndrome: Little girls killing the big bads. Not that I'm complaining -- it's very empowering, for a female to take charge, be the protector, without having to give up her fem... femin.... femininity *whew*.

Now you'll be writing Anita/Selene femmeslash -- and Michael, Micah and Richard will be trading facepunches over who gets to videotape their sex scenes. :-p

You're quite welcome! I'm slowly being sucked into Underworld-goodness. All I need to do now is get the extended version of the first movie. and U:E on dvd. And then write more fic.

Oh, I love writing fic. It's like my drug. No, actually, that's beer, but this is a close and much more productive second.
