I used to post to LiveJournal about a lot of the ins and outs of my travel experiences!
This on-this-day memory from 19 years ago is unexpectedly timely. It reminds me that we used to connect through Pittsburg a lot, and comes along with the news that
Ithaca is about to lose connections through Philadelphia.
My next flight -- my first in three years -- will be for a conference in Little Rock this fall, and right now Google Flights is still showing American through PHL as the cheapest by hundreds of dollars. I guess American hasn't cleared the route from its reservation system yet. Just as well I hadn't bought plane tickets yet, partly because my work travel credit card expired. The folks at US Bank say they're seeing this a lot: cards have been canceled for lack of use, rather than been renewed automatically as usual.
