Yes, I love summer, but I also love when those cool nights and mornings start to come back. A lot of people, of course, are bitching that it's too early for summer to be over, but never fear... it's not. I'm sure we'll have another couple of stretches in the 80s, if not the 90s.
When I went to sleep last night, I was delighted that my room was 68 degrees. Waking up to 63 was a little less delightful, but it still felt good! Until I had to get out of bed, at least. I've been letting the house cool overnight with the kitchen door and a few windows open, but with the days in the high 60s to mid 70s instead of the 80s, it's not even that urgent to cool the house off.
