Now in Shanghai 4hrs later - plane delayed by bad weather.
Just checked into the hotel - the 'deposit' is 150% of the price lol. But it's all worth it - dad & mom love the suites; great view of the city from all 4 corners of the suite; flatscreens in every room.... and INTERNET THAT WORKS!!!!
Have a zillion photos of the terracotta warriors and multiple tombs. it appears that history is all about dead things. e.g. tour guide takes us to the place where all the emperor's concubines die; place where emperor hung himself; place where people were buried alive etc etc.
Missing you guys so much - i'm thinking drinks asap once im back!
