Tom update
Chatted with the ICU nurse and there is some doubt of a release today until the scans are reviewed. Other than that the fracture is still stable and the hematoma on the back of his head was not able to be stapled but had quit bleeding. My guess is they have a bandage on that. The nurse indicated "slipped disk" and that is one of the things they are looking at now.
So, I figure I'm heading to Portland today anyway in case it's today and just stay over someplace if it's tomorrow. The dogs are at the Vets so that is one less item to handle.
