If you disagree with my theory, you are free to explain why on my thread about it.

Additionally, I never claimed that males and females have different modes of understanding reality. That is precisely a proposition I explicitly reject.

Generally, it is better to deal with something you disagree with by clamly explaining why, as opposed to using ridicule.

You are certainly correct that you have the right to post your own perspective and theory. However, given the wording of your post, I am somewhat skeptical of your sincerity.

The characters are complex and interesting, especially together. And pretty hot. Especially together. For a variety of reasons like the sound of the silence between the echoes of each pristine droplet of falling rain in the Himalayas, each one different and unique in its uniqueness (BOOYA UNINTELLIGIBLE SIMILE, instant respect points).

If I did not believe this, why would I be a Snake/Otacon fan?

My skepticism is based upon the "For a variety of reasons like the sound of the silence between the echoes of each pristine droplet of falling rain in the Himalayas, each one different and unique in its uniqueness (BOOYA UNINTELLIGIBLE SIMILE, instant respect points)."

Additionally, pretty much everything from there sounds like it isn't really, well, sincere. Mainly because of the "super special penis perspective" thing, plus the increasing use of leet-speak.

However I will grant you that "The characters are complex and interesting, especially together. And pretty hot. Especially together" sounds sincere, but a tad brief.

I apologize profusely.

And of course that part was sincere! Unfortunately, what I said is totally only from a male perspective. Hopefully some girls will arrive to share their entirely different, unique (like the sound of the silence between the echoes of each pristine droplet of falling rain in the Himalayas, each one different and unique in its uniqueness) thoughts with us guys!

Everyone has different modes of understanding reality.

I mean this on an epistemological level. What I am trying to say is I reject polylogism (the idea that there are multiple types of "logic," i.e. male logic and female logic (or proletarian logic and bourgeois logic, or aryan logic and untermensch logic, etc)).

Of course, people have different experiences and contexts and thus as such may reach different answers to the same question, I'm not denying this at all.

No, I did not. Please point out to me where I did, I believe you are drawing a false implication.

No, it was not.

I never said anything along the lines of "I hate women" nor did I ever imply it, nor do I hate women. Thus it was not misogynist. Nor was it a "penis power" essay. I have absolutely no idea how you can draw these implications. Yes, I criticize some beliefs held by some of the truly extreme "all men are rapists" school of radical feminism, so do many women and feminists at that (see Wendy McElroy, for instance). Otherwise, the focus of the article was not feminism at all, but about how the social definition of "masculinity" (or more specifically, "proper man-ness") (a definition I believe epistemologically invalid) rules intellect out of the equation, thus treating those men whose competencies are primarily mental as if they are improper men.

If anything, I was saying that the current social definition of "what it is to be male" is screwed up.

I honestly have no idea how you could come to what was essentially the opposite of the conclusion I made.

When did you stop reading my replies?

A misogynist is someone that hates women. I do not hate women. I do not believe women think differently from men. Indeed, I believe the only actual differences between women and men are anatomical. I am NOT a gender essentialist and I have no idea how you can possibly believe I am somehow a misogynist.
