Defragging, Catching up, and last night's meeting...
Yesterday was a good day. I managed to get the vacuuming done, got the first coat of poly onto the dressers (which looks really good!) and I got the dishes done. I didn't really get any picking up done, but that is going to take some serious work, truthfully. There is a lot that needs to be gone through and put away.
Doctor's appointment went well, as always. I only have a little bruise from having blood drawn. Tried to go get my contacts but they didn't have an appointment until 1:00, so we went home. I'll leave work today at 2:30 and go get that done and taken care of. Hopefully I'll come home with contacts. That would be delightful. Then I just have to find some sunglasses...
So I'm here waiting at work already, got here early since I have to leave. Hopefully Billy will get here soon so that we can get started and I can get most of the load finished up before I leave. Of course, I'm working all day tomorrow, so I'll have plenty of time to get things done.
It looks like rain on sunday, which sucks because I was planning on working on the dresser more, but now I don't know if that will happen. The big pieces will definately need at least one more coat, and the drawers are still down in the basement. We'll see how it goes, I really hope I can get more work done.
Last night's BESS meeting was really good. I really enjoyed the speaker, she involved the class a lot, and really brought out everyone's opinions and experiences which was a good thing. She stirred up some controversy, which was a good thing, and really laid things out in a blunt and simple manner. I don't know that I really learned anything so much as it was nice to have things clarified again.
The munch was fun afterwards, as it always is. There seemed to be a good turnout all in all.
I think I'm going to go get my nailfile, since I haven't finished filing my nails, and it does make it hard to type...
