SECRET SANTA SIMULATION!?!?!?
It's nearly Christmas, and what better way to celebrate than with a nice hot beverage, your fluffiest socks and a little slice of MGS made just for you?
THAT'S RIGHT PEOPLE. IT'S SECRET SANTA TIME.
Like last year, you can submit up to three prompts - more than enough to kill anything that moves. The process is exactly the same: fill in the entry form, receive prompt, GO NUTS. Then share the glorious results with everyone at mgs_fanworks at Christmastime. This year's entry deadline is November 27th.
RULES AND SUCH:
- If you have any issues, queries or problems with the exchange, leave a comment to this post or contact oudeteron,athenemiranda or fireholly via PM
- All Metal Gear games can be requested, and all characters are fair game. Feel free to request AU's, but please, no crossovers. They're complicated, and they make Sunny cry.
- Your request can be a general one ("Solid Snake fanart please!") or specific ("Big Boss dressed in leathers eating lemon pudding in a biker bar 100 miles southwest of Mother Base, please!") Please be as clear as possible about what you want and don't want - the more we know, the better we can fill your prompt!
- Fics should be a minimum of 1000 words. There's no upper word limit, so go crazy. Art should be a finished piece, ideally similar in terms of time and commitment to a 1000-word fic - a couple of hours work. Comics/doujins are welcome too, and should be treated the same as an art submission. If you're looking to submit a comic, tell us in the entry form so we can better match you!
- Vids, fanmixes and other works are not currently accepted. They're hard to match =3
- Please submit only one entry form. If you want to make changes to your entry and the edit function isn't working, please PM myself, oudeteron or athenemiranda and let us know what you want to amend. The deadline for entries is November 27th, so don't panic!
- Remember, Christmas is all about wish fulfilment, so no grief responses. Angst, H/C and so on are fine.
