there's one thing about christina that i really don't think people give her enough credit for and that is the fact that she is an excellent role model. she's an adult, she can dress however she chooses, but as far as the way she carries herself, that is something that i wouldn't mind a child looking up to. she's unique, she's independent, she's driven, and she's all for empowering people, look at 'beautiful.' she's all about confidence and being yourself and not giving a fuck. and i think that's a very powerful thing to be admired. you always got the sense that she was wilder than your average star when she was still blonde and forced to sit pretty. she's pierced, she's tatttooed, she's brunette, and you know what, she lets the little belly she has hang out of her clothes like, FUCK YOU JENNY CRAIG >:O. and the amazing thing is that people still love her, even though she's the antithesis of everything people thought she was. despite the self-inflicted dramatization of the clothes and the face, i think she's a lot more like your everyday person. she wears her heart on her sleeve and shares what she's gone through and heals through the creation of music. it's amazing to grow up with someone and see them evolve like she has and she that she's leanred from everything she's been through. she shows people that you can be imperfect in a business based on perfection and become a better person from it. i think the music industry would be a very boring place without her in it to spice it up and show everyone how to live like this grand rock star. i think she knew, even when she was little, that she had something to say and it was through the medium of that unreal voice that she would share it.
<3 christina so much. and i'll update about justin later.
