End of the year!
So this weekend was just full. I volunteered at Wing Lake, then went to my grandparents' 50th anniversary. Sunday was my brass ensemble concert.
Yesterday I helped through NHS at the Megan Acho/Laura Campbell Show.... aka Senior Honors Awards Night. Congratulations to Sam for his acquisition of multiple pieces of hardware at the underclassmen awards assembly today. Although I wasn't there to see it, I heard he did very well.
After getting excused at 11, I went to Ann Arbor to be taped in the MIFA State Champions video. I gave my speech from final round; it went fairly well. The other four Andover state champions came with me because we drove together to be taped on the same day. Jon Fitzgerald is amazing. MIFA will be at a great loss without him when he leaves... which hopefully won't be for a long time. However, there was a slight problem; the videos don't have sound. I'm just hoping I don't have to go back out and retape. I'm hoping their videos work, and mine is just screwed up :-/
The rest of the week should be fun. We're running Rep elections on thursday, and I'm addressing the incoming class of 2009 on Friday morning. So basically, I should write a speech discussing the important topics... like freshman friday ;) jkjk
