Please. Get your parents to vote on Tuesday, May 3rd in favor of both millage renewals... or we become the lowest funded school district in the state of Michigan... I'm dead serious.
And while you're at it, throw in the names "Mary Ellen Miller" and "Martin Brook" for School Board.
So Friday night, being the cool teen I am, I was at the Michigan Education Association building in Southfield, phonebaking it up with Sam, Fink (Lauren and Nate), Curtis, and Sarah. I found out that people are a lot more likely not to hang up at you when you identify yourself as a student. Overall, the response was very good.
Tomorrow, I will be distributing more information in a last minute push for Bloomfield AWAKE. Hopefully there will be no further mailbox-bumper incidents.
I will practice with the four people I am accompanying for choir auditions this week; good luck to all of them!
I guess I have a lot of things coming up in the next two weeks, but this week is concentrating solely on forensics (since it's the only one this week, also). We need to refocus about the task at hand, and bring it back home.
