Snowy Days and Mondays always get me down
I was supposed 2 be goin to the mall 2 see "hitch" w/ ali today, but our hot date had to be postponed cuz its snowing like MAD outside. Oh well, perhaps Wednesday we can go.
In case you are all wondering (well all u non Friars @ least) today is a DAY OFF here @ PC! Woohooooo! To celebrate, I am going to finish that Dante paper I talked about yesterday!
Now, you may be asking yourselves "why didn't she finish her paper yesterday like she said she would?" Well, Meg (my other half) and I were COMPLETELY distracted yesterday. You dont even understand how bad our ADD was. It was sad. The good news is I am over halfway done with the paper, and I do have all day today to do it. Well, I might go ice skating tonight with Spiritual Life Club @ the outdoor rink in Providence, but who knows with the snow.
Like I said, I was completely distracted yesterday. Wanna hear all the cool things I did INSTEAD OF my paper? Let's see, I facebook-stalked with meg, I searched for song lyrics, I played Yahoo games, I checked my email a bazillion times, I IMed everyone I knew, I played with ringtones on my cell, I downloaded ITunes (including a bunch of celebrity jeopardy skits: I LUV THOSE!), and thats probably it. Oh, and I read all my LJ comments, so keep 'em coming (except for my brother. note to brian: STOP READING THIS AND WRITING COMMENTS. HERE'S YOUR SHOUTOUT, NOW LEAVE ME ALONE). Aren't almost-14-yr-old brothers wonderful?
OMG did anyone watch Desperate Housewives last nite? WHOAAAAAA. Turns out that the redhead pill's son is gay. That pool scene was so crazy. We all SCREAMED when the son popped his head out of the water. Now does anyone REALLY believe that John the hot gardner is only 18? Come on! He's played by a 24-yr-old guy! Oh well, I say keep him, cuz he is SO HOT!
Well, that leaves us with person of the day... I have gotten many people's requests to be my person of the day, but for now I am sorry to inform you it is only reserved for unsung celebrities. Maybe this will change in the future, however. So I'm hoping for inspiration on who today's person will be. And it is...
Carmen San Diego! Wait a minute, where in the world is she? Oh, I crack myself up. Tell me you guys used to watch that show on PBS every weeknight @5PM! That was broadcasting genius right there! I even had the board game! The crooks all had punny names that only the parents got, did you notice that? Like "Penny Larceny" (Petty larceny!) Or the V.I.L.E. henchmen? Hardy har har. The best was at the end the bonus round where you had to put the light up markers on the place on the map. If you won, you got to go anywhere in North America. EVERYONE PICKED MEXICO. WHY?!? I would have picked Florida or California, or even Vancouver! Of course, my boyfriend is in Mexico right now, but still. Crazy people, I tell you.
Okay, I have wasted enough time here. I am going to go to brunch and get started on this beast of a paper. I will talk to y'all later (yes I definitely did just throw in a southern accent!).
