all you need is love, love, love
I was going to work out at the gym with Meg today- then I saw it was raining. Clearly I can't walk the 100 feet to the gym in the rain! Anyways, I was walking down the first floor trying to figure out what I can do instead of read Brothers Karamozov! I saw one of the rooms had a cute sign on the door that said "I hate you Uncle Jimmy!- Love Actually" and was inspired. Today is a perfect day to cuddle up and watch Love Actually- one of my fave movies since I first saw it last year. So meg and I put aside the work we should do, the crunches we should do, etc. Instead, we ate our delicious ray boxed lunches and watched the classic film that made me fall in love with Liam Neeson, Hugh Grant, and every other adorable guy with an accent. So today's entry is a celebration of this amazing movie.
In a perfect world, I would marry Liam Neeson's character and adopt that cute lil' boy Sam. I love Sam. Sam is quite possibly the most romantic male character ever in a movie. I'm serious about this. That kid has more romantic balls at the age of like 10 than most guys do in a lifetime. Oh my gosh, he even learns how to be a drummer just so he can do backup for his crush. He runs through the airport, dodging secrurity, just to talk to little Joanna. Oh, I love it. I love it!
In a perfect world, I would look like Keira Knightley or that Natalie girl. Yeah, I pick that natalie girl- hugh grants assistant. Well, I wouldn't wanna be her when Billy Bob thorton puts a move on her, though, cuz he's skeezy. Did anyone else get the impression that the producers hate Americans- casting Billy Bob as president? I mean, come ON! Anyways, back to natalie. I hate how everyone calls her fat! She's nowhere near fat @ all.
Moving on. Let's talk about Snape. While is Alan Rickman in this movie? I dislike him so much- probably because he plays snape! Anyways, that slutty girl who totally hits on him. Eww.
Now, My fave parts of the movie-
3. When Billy Mack says the following line... Hiya kids. Here is an important message from your Uncle Bill. Don't buy drugs. Become a pop star, and they give you them for free.
2. When the trumpets pop out of the pews in the wedding, playing "all you need is love"
1. When Sam and Liam neeson watch Titanic.
This movie just puts me in such a good mood. AFter watching it, I want to learn portuguese and then hug the first person I see! I want to think about love, love, love! I'm so cheesy, I know, but gosh this is the perfect film. The perfect one.
