everything changed- when did that happen?
-The Marshalls in Enfield moved across the street. It's now near Barnes and Noble, which also used to be in the strip mall across the street! (For those who don't know- Enfield is just one big cluster of strip malls and shopping plazas).
-My brother is now taller than my mom. He came home from school the other day in his Cathedral uniform, and i was totally weirded out.
-Amy is working on College applications. Um, wait, wasn't I just filling out college apps?
-I went to work today, and now our office is upstairs in this tiny room instead. And everyone has a different job or different department, it's weird.
-The house across the street is now this pale green color, no more white.
-Enfield now has a Best Buy where FoodMart used to be.
-My mom somehow got an American Girl catalog in the mail today, and of course I had to flip through it. They no longer just have the basic 5 dolls or even the American Girl of Today. They have dozens of dolls and outfits and too many products to fit in the catalog. Now girls have to go online to see the complete collection. They have it so easy. Does anyone else remember the joy of getting an American Girl doll? I saved up all my money for a year- birthday, christmas, first communion,- and then finally had the $82 to get the doll and paperback book. Mom called in the order, and I would wait anxiously for the mail every day, hoping this was the day it would come. Then, one day, the box arrived- it was unmistakeable- the long Pleasant Company box! Oh, it was the best ever!
-Tomorrow I'm going to the CHS Thanksgiving football game. Expect more changes, lol.
