Yeah, I wrote about VM. Can ya BELIEVE it?!

So my dad happened to walk through the TV room when VM was on the commercial break before V wakes up with Duncan tonight. Of course, I was just randomly squeeing about the awesomeness of VM, as I am prone to do while watching the show, so my dad hung around for like three minutes after it came back on. Of course, he had no idea what was happening, so I didn't blame him for leaving, BUT what did he say later tonight? He said, "Why wasn't Veronica with Logan? I thought that was who she was supposed to be with." :Sigh: He listens to me. He really listens to me. Makes me happy. Oh, and how did I answer? I simply explained - far to quickly and excitedly because this all means way too much to me - "Well, Veronica and Logan are very screwed up people. They'll end up together in the end. Duncan was her first boyfriend, and it's just really complicated." I then kept telling him he needs to watch the first season with me. Oh yes yes yes. He's watched some Buffy and Angel with me. It's all about getting to him when he's tired and aimlessly flipping channels on the TV. I can be veeeeery sneaky (and yes, that was a Michelle of Full House channel. Why do I tell you this? I guess I like to be mocked. The masochism and all.)

Okay, as for the actual ep-

Veronica and Duncan have issues. It's all falling apart. I don't see it lasting much longer. They have next to no communication. Also, I'm mad at both Duncan and Veronica for how the whole Meg thing was handled. Duncan was hiding it from Veronica, and when she caught him and wanted to talk about it, he blew her off. Veronica, on the other hand, should have left and told him she didn't want to speak to him again until he was ready to talk about the Meg issue once he blew her off. I hate that she'd just stay and sleep with him and ignore the problem.

And as for Jackie, okay, why did they have to add her? I liked Madison, who was the resident Ice Queen, rich, stuck up snob, and SHE PLAYED THE PART SO WELL. I loved to watch her in scenes. Now, Madison is nowhere to be found, and I just want to soap opera slap Jackie and then throw my water in her face. Okay, so doing that to Madison would probably be really fun, too, but that's not the point. I get the writers wanting Wallace to have a girlfriend, but I don't see this working out. I foresee HER breaking up with HIM, and I hate that. Jackie should not have the power to hurt Wallace. Grrrrrrrr. Also, I HATE that she was such a complete jerk about Wallace leaving to help V. Hello, Jackie? Veronica is Wallace's best friend, and it's not like they have a whole lot of other friends. Their parents are even dating. They could be step-siblings soon. What are you? You've known the boy for a couple weeks. You don't rate that high, and no matter how many times you tell yourself, you're NOT the fairest of them all. Just go suck an orange, get a personality transplant, jump in a lake, etc. Actually, take Duncan along on that little trip, will ya? Okay, thanks.

Logan, oh my dear sweet Logan. HEEEEEY, he's got highlights again! Yeah, I like 'em. Of course, one scene is never enough. (They're like Pringles, ya know.) I ADORED the continuity of having the Life's Short Party mention in "Driver Ed" and then bringing it back now. That was very happy making. Also, that V/L scene just rocked the house, though of course that's incredibly unsurprising. Also, I really loved V's look in that scene. Oh, and "Gee whillikers" - so much love.

Alright, and Dick and Cassidy are the new Finn and Colin. I WANT MORE OF THEM, PLEEEEEASE. I miiiiissed them in this ep. (Kind of like I MISS FINN - and Colin to a much lesser extent - in most Gilmore Girls eps. And Zach. Yeah, he's awesomeness, too.) I mean, there's so much to explore with the dynamics between Dick and Logan, Cassidy and Logan, & Kendall and all of them. I hate that we didn't get to see any of that.

The tiny tiny tiny bit that Mac was in was hardly worth mentioning. It was annoying how incredibly little they gave her to do, though I've never been a huge Mac fan, so I'm not reeling with disappointment.

Teasing me with the thought of a Meg scene was mean. Also, I couldn't believe how different Meg's sis Lizzie looked in that hospital hallway. Nice job there. Of course, it makes perfect sense with their parents.

Oh, and I just want to throw out another idea Shayla and I were talking about. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE it if the writers brought back Troy, fleshed out his character, and had the love triangle be between him, Veornica, and Logan. Just think about it. It could be so awesome. He's got great charisma and wit - so appealing - with the ability to show a sweet side (though sure it could have all been fake, but I definitely think he had some real feelings for V). They could delve into his past and explain more of how he came to be who he is, what's happened since we saw him last, etc. I just MISS TROY! I really loved him. I would really be in fangirl heaven if I could have him and Logan in the show, so who knows how long I'll continue this crazy wishing. That love triangle would just be INFINITELY more entertaining for me than what we're getting now. Of course, Casey or Luke would be far better than what we're getting now, IMO. You know, since Dick so needs more scenes anyway, let me just say that Dick developing some insane crush on V could be incredibly entertaining.

Okay, so there is definitely homework I should be doing now. I should probably get on that.
