I really, really liked this a lot. I've always wondered why his eyes bled too, but I like the story that tries to make up for that explanation. Well done.

Wow, I loved this. Also, yay Arizona! It's so sad that I've lived here for my entire life and I can't even begin to guess where Douglas is. Glad someone knows, heh. Again, great story, very powerful and heart wrenching.
