morning amusements

I think this should be incorporated into a local san francisco stand up comedy act:

Often, in the mornings, as I am taking BART (local train) to work, there is an overhead announcement reminding me to keep away from the yellow line. "Please step back from the yellow line". But most of the times, it is the conductors way of politely trying to get someone to move away from the yellow line. Of course, the intended audience never pays attention, so then it goes something like this, " For your safety, PLEASE keep away from the yellow line". Of course, said offender is still offensively standing on yellow line. Then, it gets personal. "SIR, please move away from the yellow line." NOTHING. "MAN WITH WHITE SHIRT AND BLACK HAT AND BRIEF CASE, STANDING ON YELLOW LINE. MOVE AWAY FROM THE YELLOW LINE."

So hilarious. If they wouldn't get fired, I am sure cursing would be involved. This, along with reminding people not to bring bikes onto the lead cabin or allowing handicap people to sit in designated places are common offenses where people get descriptively called out. Cracks me up.
