Missin Vacation...
Alright, I think it’s time for an update. What’s so funny is that last year I used to write in this thing almost once a week and this year I hardly update and I don’t know if it’s because my life is not as interesting as before or if it’s cause I’ve lost interest in this thing. Unfortunately, I think it is the former. Aaaaaaanyways, lots has happened since my last update so I think it’s time to fill you all in. And hopefully, since I’m updating mine maybe some other people (::cough cough:: Evan ::cough cough:: Melissa) will update there’s too. They are a great way to procrastinate, which btw, is what I’m doing at this very moment. I’ve got my very first college paper to get started on but it’s Saturday and the paper is not due until Thursday at 6:00 PM so I’ve got loooooooooaaaaaaaads of time.
I guess I’ll start with finals. My roomie left before they even began so I had the room to myself for about a whole week, which was really nice. TV when I wanted, sleep when I wanted, music when I wanted…ahhhh, that’s a luxury I miss cause I always used to do that when I was home. That weekend was especially fun due to a certain someone but I won’t get into that. However, I will say thank you to Lauren!! She knows why…Besides all that though, I managed to pass organic chem., as well as receive an A- in Spanish, and an A in Psych!! Woo hoo!!! I’m not failing out! Also, that Sunday before my Spanish final my bro came to sleep over and take me out to dinner. Sushi buffet!! Mmmmmmm…SO good. Monday morning we woke up around 11 and watched ER while I ate some cereal. It was snowing so there was a big chance we wouldn’t leave that day but I was optimistic (big surprise huh?). Then my bro and I went to USDAN for lunch at about 12 (he drove there hooray!) where he saw his old residents from last year. It was fun being there with my brother. I went over to G-zang for the last final of the semester, finished in an hour, came back and off we went. About 5 hours later I was home for vacation!
Tuesday my brother drove me on over to Sean’s. I hung out there and basically every night I was with him. I got to see Matt, Evan, Melissa, and basically the whole crew. It was awesome. Also, there were a lot of Coldstone nights, so I got my fill.
Friday night, after a 2 hour delay, my fam and I went to Puerto Rico which was a lot of fun actually. I didn’t wanna go cause I hadn’t been home a lot but we had a good time. I got to gamble there and won some money. We went to the Bacardi Rum factory, which was a good time. Lastly, we went to the rainforest, which was really cool. My bro and I had a stupid idea to hike the challenging trail which resulted in us almost dying of exhaustion from walking and getting locked in the forest when they were gonna close the gate. We didn’t get rained on but we climbed by some waterfalls, which were really pretty. I think it was Wednesday when we came home.
That Thursday the 30th was Sean and mine’s 5 month anniversary, which was the first anniversary we were together for since our 1 month one. We went into the city for dinner and then went to see the tree in Rockefeller Center. It was soooooooo big and pretty. Finally, we got back to Long Island and hung out a little and then off to sleep we went. The next day was the 31st and Sean and I hung out once again throughout the day and then we went to Melissa’s for dinner with her and Evan. Then it was off to Kim’s after a little confusion to watch the call drop. I had someone to kiss on New Years, which is the best feeling EVER! Then we went to Melissa’s for prob the best sleepover ever. It was just the four of us and we were up till 7 in the morning talking. It was amazing.
I don’t remember much of the rest of vacation. There was lots of poker, lots of meals out (esp in Applebees), I saw Meet the Fockers with my dad, visited my G-ma, hung out like every night…it was an awesome time. Basically everyday I was with Sean and every night, which is something I miss so much. A few nights before I left I went bowling with Sean, Matt, Robyn, and Evan, and I got to see some old high schoolers. Not a great experience since I was treated so wonderfully, but I tried my best to be nice and I think I succeeded. My last day home I went to BeniHana with Matt, Robyn, Evan, and Melissa (they cut school). It was really good and then it was back home to get the rest of the crew and then off to the mall. That night Sean took me out to Piccolo’s for dinner and we had a really good time. I said bye to everyone else before though. Then the night got confusing. My dad ended up getting a kidney stone and went to the ER so I had to take a plane back due to that, which cause me to leave a lot of things home. Also, Melissa got lost in Levittown on her way back to me. The night was confusing but I got to say bye to everyone, my dad was alright (everyone was concerned about him and he appreciated it), and I got to say my good-bye to Sean. I miss him so much.
Classes here are alright. I have mass amounts of work but I’d pretty ahead on it all. We celebrated Lauren’s b-day last night, which was really good times. And now? I’m sittin here waiting for the snow about to write my paper. Blegh.
I miss Long Island like no other. Things here are alright and getting better sometimes, but there ain’t nothing like Long Island, New York. I miss my life there, I miss driving, I miss seein everyone everyday, I just miss home. But I may not have to miss it that much anymore since some people may be visitin and ill be home in February. I think its time to end this. Im getting frustrated with it not bein done and I want it to be lol. So im out all…more updates to come (hopefully soon!)
