Pre-Series Fic
Hello!
I am looking for a fic I read years and years ago. I am afraid the details are very sketchy but it was a pre-series fic about Illya's arrival in the United States. One scene that really sticks out in my mind is that he goes to a second hand shop and buys a book in Chinese - the book might be about agriculture or tractors maybe? There was a lot of emphasis on Illya's educational background. It might if been gen or slash but probably not het.
I am afraid that is all I have! :)
I have now realised that I had fused two fics in my head!

The second fic was a pre-series one that dealt with Illya arriving in the United States. There was a lot of emphasis on Illya's educational background. It might of been gen or slash but probably not het. It may also have involved Illya shopping for books at one point.
