Down the Chimney Affair 2024 is open for sign-ups!
I promised to get this done this weekend and actually managed it, even if a bit late in the weekend.
The AO3 collection and fiction gift exchange is up and ready for your sign-ups! The signup period will be open for three weeks, closing on Monday, October 14, 2024. Completed (or mostly completed) fiction are due to be uploaded to AO3 no later than Monday, December 16th and of course the stories will go live on Christmas Day, December 25th. Since DtCA remains an anonymous gift exchange, authors will not be revealed until January 1, 2025.
This year I have a little help as I will be not be readily available for a few weeks in October, but please be reassured I will be able to respond to any questions or concerns you may have (although I may be a little slow). Timemidae has kindly volunteered to help but she is not on LJ and I do not have an email address for her to give to you as yet. My email is vysila AT comcast DOT net.
Everything is pretty much the same as previous years. The rules and FAQs remain unchanged.
