A non-specific MFU question for writers
I'm curious how other writers settle upon a PoV for stories. An idea occurs, do you mull it over in your head as to whether it should be first or third? Napoleon or Illya's PoV?
Do you get halfway through something and realize the PoV isn't working and start again or just keep plowing on? Ninety percent of my stuff is third person, but I'm not sure if that's a conscious choice or just the one I'm used to. It's certainly the easiest (for me) to switch back and forth with.
