I had never heard of it before this morning! They said it cost over a million an episode because all the 'special effects' were shot in black and white and then hand colored. I need to carve out some time to watch it.

Somewhere in Davidmccallumfansonline, there's an interview in which David said he was doing an underwater scene. His character drowns in a car that crashed into the water. While he was doing the scene, he lost his air hose and panicked a bit. He found it obviously but it really scared him.

When the director complimented him on his fine acting job during the shoot, David told him what had happened. The director refused to use that filming and it was done over again. He was grateful that his near-drowning didn't make it into the show.

Thanks for posting the series. I'll be able to watch it all again. Now VR is old school. My nephew has all the equipment for virtual gameplay. I wore it once and it was very realistic!

I had forgotten that Loise Fletcher was in VR5.

Wow, I didn't know that. How scary that must have been because he's a fairly good swimmer. For him to get scared... wow.

No worries. I was thrilled to discover something new. I plan to watch it, too.

I remember this one well. It was really ahead of its time and I was sorry to see it get canceled.

I didn't know anything about it and it has two of my favorite actors in it. It's like Christmas. :D
