Almost forgot a MAJOR holiday
December 21 is International Dalek Remembrance Day, commerating the date in 1963 when "The Doctor’s most recognizable (and somehow beloved) villains and heartless killing machines first appeared on-screen." One suggestion for celebrating the day is to decorate your Christmas Tree as a Dalek. Seems like a good suggestion - the shape is there already. I think a motion-detecting alarm that screams "Exterminate!" when a cat starts to explore might be a useful start.
