If you are even toying with the idea of this, you probably should read this article.
This is not so cool and I think a lot of fanficion writers will take it in the teeth if they go this route.

Yet there will be those who are naive, and are thrilled with the idea of getting paid for doing something they love. That can be an exciting lure to anyone, and sadly some will enter into this 'deal with the devil' blindly because of that enthusiasm, and because of being uninformed.

Luckily, thanks to you, Sparky and Grey: I don't think this will be happening with any of the cousins (at least let's hope not?)

The word is spreading about kindle doing this, and I saw a number of articles, one in particular on Google news, touting its 'wonderfulness.'

Sadly, there are many fans who fall under that category and we can only hope by spreading the word to limit the damage. The sad truth is that the gullibility and need to feel important is what drives so many reality shows today.

Thankfully, the 'worlds' purchased so far are mostly aimed at the younger fans and not part of mainstream fandom as we know it (ST,SW,DW, HP, etc.). We can only hope it stays that way as it will be much easier to contain.
