365 Days and Counting
It's here. October 1, 2004. Exactly one year to go before DF and I are married. I can hardly believe it. Plans are chugging along, but today seems more, I don't know, "significant." This time next year we will be husband and wife, which ends one part of the long journey and starts us on a new road, together in the most official way.
Sweetie, if you read this (and I know you will), I love you more than I ever though it was possible to love someone else. You've made me laugh, you've made me cry, you've made me angry, but most of all, you've made me deliriously happy. You love me for who I am, even before I figured that out for myself. Thank you for helping me discover how fabulous life can be when you're with the right person. Thank you for giving me the vision of a future together. Finally, thank you for your patience and perseverance. I am not the easiest of individuals to get along with at the best of times, and you have seen me at my worst, yet you still love me. That's all I could ever hope for. I can't wait to call you "Husband."
